In general I am not too bad with bugs. With a few exceptions, anything poisonous, maggots, wasps and cockroaches. I lived in China for a year and they had large flying cockroaches. When I first moved into a ground floor apartment, I moved a bag of bedding and a cockroach crawled out, I screamed and moved to another room. Fortunately the previous occupants had left a can of raid and the cockroach was dispatched with a spray of raid. When you went out in the evening you would here crunching as you walked on cockroaches in the street. When we moved to a seventh floor apartment, newly decorated we had a couple of weeks without roaches. We could never have our windows open in the evening as roaches would fly in. I also had a handy can of raid.

My son is not scarred at all and has stroked a hissing cock roach. I also love Tarrentula's.

Well, I am not sure whether I dislike bugs more than they don't like me. About a month ago I tried killing a spider by getting on a step ladder and fell off then was driving down a country road where a spider dropped down in front of my face and it caused me to pull the car over and kill it. Then just the other day I killed a cricket so it's a toss up on my end. What can I say, but they just bug me:p

Me too! I want one as a pet :D

Nope! Nada! No way! I had a friend growing up whose brother loved to torture me with his pet tarantula every time I stayed the night. I always woke up with the thing crawling on my face.

And I thought I was an ornery brother when I was a kid for placing a rubber tarantula on my sister's face and watching her freak out when she woke up. Your friend's brother has me beat! I can picture you waking up with that tarantula on your face.

So here I am, minding my own business, just putting away some leftover corn and beans from dinner, when a big ol' house centipede comes crawling out of the pot.
For those of you who've never had the pleasure of encountering one of these:

So...that was cool...:/

Oh my goodness. This is my kryptonite. I just absolutely abhor house centipedes with a passion. You know that feeling when you see these things start crawling and you feel like the world starts shaking and your head goes up in the clouds and you find it hard to breath. Chilopodophobia.

You see I don't mind this because I had a tarantula called sting (Named after the sword in lord of the rings) He was a wee pet. And would sit on my face just like this, the weee cutie - pie :D
