I've never tasted it, so I can't give my own opinion, I'm merely repeating what I've heard so many others say.

On toast...a little bit of butter and a little bit of vegemite.

It is a BLACK spread made from a yeast extract. Looks awful for the uninitiated lol.

Kinda salty, kinda malty, kinda bitter...kinda...well actually it is almost impossible to explain lol.

But be warned..only use a little at first and make sure that the toast is still warm.

It is quintisentially Australian.

We are all "Happy little Vegemites" down here:)

lol!! I'll have one of my Aussie friends send me some. Tim Tams too. never had those either

Y'all are funny. If I told you some of the things I eat, y'all would think I was gross.

Ewww no!!! I don't like grits, and I heard greens are gross. I'm Texan, not Southern. Texas is kind of in a class of it's own. I'm mostly Mexican though. I've eaten menudo, wich is a soup made of the stomach lining of the cow, and barbacoa which is the meat on the cow head. I also had chicken hearts in Brazil.

Oh sorry. I just assumed you were from the South. And after living in the US for a while I know that it is bad form to call a Texan Southern lol.

I lived Louisiana for a while and mentioned something about Texas being in the south....well I never did that again LOL.

Sorry for that.

Interesting menu y'all have goin there:) I would definitely try it.

Yep! Texas women are supposed to be unlike women from other states. Prettier too.

Oh the things you'll eat if you come to Texas! There's lots of Mexican food in south Texas and it's reeeeeally good. You should come visit.

That is soooooo true. !!!! I ate at the Big Texan in Amarillo a couple of weeks ago. I was stuffed for most of the next day.:o I just can't eat like I used too.:(

I was just passing thru on our way to Phoenix. Stopping almost made us late. I could probably take some time off there sometime. If I do; i will let you know.
