There are many verses that say that God is omnipotent, sovereign and that nothing happened without his knowledge. If nothing happen without his permissions then gays are a by-product from God. About verses that implies that God made gay; here are examples that come to my mind: Daniel 4, 35 and genesis 1, 26
He does as he pleases with the powers of heaven and the peoples of the earth.
No one can hold back his hand or say to him: “What have you done?” Daniel 4, 35
Then God said, "Let us make human beings in our image, to be like us. Genesis 1, 26
It is very sad that your perception of gays is limited to what was written thousand of years ago. Things have changed quite a bit since then. As long as gays don't transgress the laws of our country: Violence, rape, murder are not acceptable but who care about what is going on in other bedrooms?
I'll be one of the first to stand up for welcoming homosexuals into our worship buildings, and to befriend them. And, at times, I may be the loudest....... But don't try to shovel any of the "stuff" you just wrote. Freely continuing in ANY kind of sin has nothing to do with following Jesus.
Amen! The shifting of the hour-glass hasn't changed God at all! Love all, Hate all sin! You Got it and MoeT it will never change to love them to death, versus God's love for them into the light. Is God the author of temptation, then too? NO!

I'm having a hard time trying to picure what a by product of God would look like...
I didn't know that violence was in a different category then are rape and murder
so, God has become forgetful about all those things in the Bible or maybe He has given His by-products their rightful place in the grand scheme of things

I have no problem with a lost gay coming in to hear the gospel...but one who refuses to acknowledge the truth, cease their contrary lifestyle and or a "church member" who comes out and refuses to submit to the truth and change would be lumped under the same banner as the fornicator of whom Paul under inspiration commanded to be cut loose for the destruction of the flesh.

Just thinking about this subject as of late......................this is in the news,on the minds of Christians and has the attention of the majority.
The master deceiver works this way. While the attention is diverted and the majority are focused on the seen and what is popular ............what is going on behind the scenes that no one is paying attention to? This is where satan works. The attention is on the gay agenda and has priority for most Christians.................So he is working on some scheme behind the scenes because he has us all distracted.
What is he doing behind the scenes?
Actually, being created in the image of God does not mean that God is created in our image.
God is perfect. He created perfect earthly beings. Then, sin came into the world. Disobedience to God.
The consequence of sin, has been death and destruction. The human genome has gone downhill. For instance, both in the early books of the Bible, and in ancient Egypt, people married their sisters and half sisters. That is actually how the line of succession for the Pharaohs of Egypt was passed down. They kept the line "pure" that way.
Abraham married his half sister, Isaac married a cousin and so did Jacob. A lot of inbreeding, but no genetic mutations. But when the Israelites had intermarried for 400 years in Egypt, the level of mutations started to go up, and God forbade the Hebrews to marry close relatives. Even today, Tay-Sachs - a autosomal recessive genetic disorder is found mostly in Ashkenazi Jews.
As we get farther from creation, our brokenness is producing more and more mutations and deviations. Being gay is a deviation from God's plan for a man and woman to be together.
Another thing to consider, is the studies of overcrowding of rats. In studies which put rats into apartment-like buildings, no access to the outdoors, and overcrowded, usually one dominant male took over the compound. The other males became homosexual to gratify their needs because the females were not available. Whereas the same variety of rats, when kept with enough space, access to sunshine and nature, no homosexuality came out. I think this is so relevant to our society. Many live far from the natural world, or the world the way God created it. People become terribly overcrowded in urban centers. Besides homosexuality, violence also results.
I also know a man who was a medical missionary to Cameroon. He said the whole time he lived and worked as a doctor there, he only met one homosexual. Apparently, it was not socially acceptable to be gay. And so no one was. Which indicates that being gay is a choice!
So no, God did not create homosexuality at all. He created a perfect world, with a perfect man and woman. But sadly and this is the whole point of why Jesus came - man and woman sinned, and death and pain and suffering were the result.

Dc, we are of the same mind and theology. The Corinthian believer was making a spectacle of his overt sin and was disrupting the local assembly in their daily worship.
If the Gay is pushing their agenda and disrupting service.............Kick em out.
My favorite sin( authority/anger)............. If I started jumping up and yelling at the Pastor when he taught on the hypostatic union incorrectly, He has every right to toss me out. But if I sit in silence and bite my tongue and don't disrupt the assembly I can stay. The pastor knows I sin in my head when we disagree, but he can't kick me out for it if I do not disrupt.
It is the same with any sin. If it disrupts the local assembly, and hinders the teaching of doctrine overtly............we kick em out.
But we do not kick out the homo that sits quietly and listens and the only noise they make is from the gossiping, self righteous, prigs that sit next to them.

God didnt change his mind from the OT to the NT. Homosexuality is still wrong.If you are a Christian you should know that.

Nothing DOES happen without His permission, but I (as someone who every day struggles with same-sex attraction) am NOT a mere BY-product from God, on contrary: I'm one of His beloved creatures. Sure, I'm a sinner, but aren't we all? That's why He sent His Son, to deliver us all from sin... ALL.
God's Word is eternal! (Ps 119:89) and Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. (Heb 13:8)

No we teach them that if they are a believer..they are the temple of God and if they defile the temple ..God will destroy that body. Same point Paul made to all who practiced sexually immorality. If they are a believer and their sin has come to the knowledge of the church...they are warned directly and if they refuse to turn from it...they are thrown out of the body...just as the bible teaches.

Except from a few, I haven't seen many saying that 'yall just keep on sinning, I'm here to support any sin you will ever be commiting and some extras', what I've read on here is folks saying that sinning isn't ok, but some of us are disagreeing when it comes to how we're adressing sin.

Are you aware that there are folks struggling with this issue who is part of this forum. Are folks speaking with love as Jesus would had spoken. Some of those responses are full of hatred. Yes, the sin is wrong just like all the other sins that are mention in the Word. Lets speak about homosexuality within the church, adultery, gossiping, false teaching and etc. Do not be a stumbling block to others because ones responses full of hatred or harsh tone. There is only One who Judge that is God.
When God observe our lives will God see imperfection or sin that was hidden in our secret closet. Yesterday, I minister to a Muslim who is in the Islam faith, we pray together, shared hardships, pain and at the end the person said the following: Thank you!
