LOL it is referring to the anointing of the Most Holy, THE MESSIAH. You people are so tied up in buildings and physical things that you miss a large part of what the word of God says.

And you're so tied up in mystical mumbo-jumbo from Gnosticism that you will be shocked when the New Jerusalem appears upon this earth in the middle east in the future.

That's true, but this is about the New Jerusalem on earth in the future, which cannot be equally compared to existing cities of history.

But Revelation wasn't written in the future; it was written in ancient history and reflects how people thought back then.

I fail to understand your meaning. There's still much Bible prophecy written in the OT Books that have yet to come to pass today, and are events still to occur future to us. The event of Christ's second coming and future manifesting of God's Kingdom, and the future new heavens and new earth were first written of in the OT Books.

Genesis and Revelation are the front and back covers of God's Word, and rightly so because they have many subjects that directly relate to each other.

Try a search on the 'oblation' layout of Ezekiel's temple.

There will be enough room for every one, New Jerusalem won't be crowded. The ground level of the City will be nearly 2 million square miles. This is 40 times bigger than England and 15,000 times bigger than London. It's ten times bigger than France or Germany and far larger than India. But remember that's just the ground level. The exact measurements are given by an angel and reported to be 12,000 stadia, the equivalent of 1,400 or 2,200 kilometers in length, width, and height.

Very little in OT prophecy hasn't come to pass.

LOL Gnosticism is the whipping boy used by weak Christians who have no sound arguments and do not understand the New Testament. I doubt if you really know what Gnosticism is :)

Spiritual fantasy due to "spiritual" interpretation instead of literal interpretation! :p

NONSENSE. It is you who push it into the future ignoring the fact that Ezekiel said he SAW it. I take it literally. Ezekiel saw the heavenly temple come to earth in the same way as Elijah saw the heavenly chariots come to earth.

The New Jerusalem is the BRIDE of Christ. It represents GOD'S PEOPLE

Most OT prophecy has already been fulfilled especially with the first advent of the Messiah and with the re-establishing of Israel after the exile.

The event of Christ's second coming and future manifesting of God's Kingdom, and the future new heavens and new earth were first written of in the OT Books.

Most of the references are to His FIRST coming and to the advancement of the Kingly Rue of God in earth NOW.

Soooooo?

I don't waste my time on such drivel.

More quasi-pseudo Gnostic Mystic tradition speech, that is.

What you mean is that you do not have the spiritual understanding revealed by the New Testament. You simply do not know what Gnosticism is. you are pathetic.

Rev 21:15-16
15 And he that talked with me had a golden reed to measure the city, and the gates thereof, and the wall thereof.
16 And the city lieth foursquare, and the length is as large as the breadth: and he measured the city with the reed, twelve thousand furlongs. The length and the breadth and the height of it are equal.
KJV

LOL what is the height of a city? Its largest building? Its average buildings? This makes it clear that this is not a real city. And this is especially so when the 'city' is said to be the bride of Christ and is therefore made up of people. As Paul said I Galatians, the heavenly Jerusalem is our mother.

What did have the same length, breadth and height? The Holiest Place of course. The point is that God's people are God's holiest place. We are the Temple of the living God

Even more detail of its layout is given in the Ezekiel 40-47 chapters.

Rubbish. you clearly haven't tried to relate them.

That's how I know when someone speaks the kind of things like Valiant did there, it shows they don't truly know what all is covered in God's Holy Writ.

I am more aware than you are of what is in God's holy writ, and I read it IN THE LIGHT OF THE NEW TESTAMENT. You are bogged down in a morass.

Very little in OT prophecy hasn't come to pass.

Actually, there still quite a lot of prophecy in the OT yet to be fulfilled today. Apostle Peter reminded us too to be mindful of what was written in those OT prophets also (2 Peter 3:2).

From ancient Babylon to the ancient Greek Gnosticism it's still recognizable for what it really is, i.e., just another name of many for the old pagan philosophies of the ancient mysteries that migrated from ancient Sumer-Babylon. Someone in that mess today most likely aren't told that's it actual origin, i.e., from Babylon, but that's where the very first false religious system began. Hiding it under the guise of the Greek 'gnosis' (to know) has not hidden its origins from the early Church, nor from those who heed God's Word as written today.

LOL LOL I knew you did not know. The Babylonians were not gnostics. you are so funny. you pontificate while talking wildly about something you know NOTHING about. do some research and then we might listen to you. You are nothing but a hyped up Judaiser. WE BELIEVE THE NEW TESTAMENT.

I have no need to research the origins of pagan philosophy. I studied enough about it in my youth. But I well know people like yourself are out there pushing mystic pagan spiritualizing philosophy upon God's Word to make It unrecognizable. If I did that, I could probably deduce that you are just a fairy, and not a real person at all.

if one does not believe in The kingdom to come [on earth] future,

will they even be in it when it appears?

if one does not believe in The kingdom to come [on earth] future,

will they even be in it when it appears?

Yes, they will know the difference then...

Luke 13:27-28
27 But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity.
28 There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when ye shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God, and you yourselves thrust out.
KJV

Very little in OT prophecy hasn't come to pass.

there is still a lot of prophecy in the bible to go,
and a lot of it was not even open to our understanding till now

But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end:
many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.
