He became sin...???

My opinion is that the serpent represents the sinful (not full of sin but the sin nature) human flesh of Jesus.

No its a picture of our sin being judged in His Body...bronze represents judgment...and its that judgment of our sin upon Him that gives us life. NO NO NO ...Jesus did not have a Sin nature...the scriptures make its absolute clear that He had no sin...sin had no part in Him. He took OUR SIN...on the Cross.

No sin nature means no desire to sin which means no temptation. An analogy would be trying to get a dog to sit or roll over by offering him a new Mercedes... it's not the dogs nature to desire a new car. Change it to a pork job, then he's tempted.

Desire to sin and being tempted to sin are not the same things. Christ had no desire to sin, but he was tempted to sin by simply being in a human form in a wicked world.

I know what your saying... you don't believe that Jesus was fully man, the only thing human about him was his flesh and blood body he came in.

It was the desire of Jesus' flesh to against the will of God (sin) and not go to the cross. A very real temptation to go against the father, but he said nevertheless NOT MY WILL (desire) but thine.

He was no different than you or I except for the fact of not having inherited a legacy of sin from his father. His spirit was not dead as ours were before Christ.

Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me; Exodus 20:5​

Did Adam have a "sin nature" before the fall? No ....was he tempted? Yes

The scriptures say the Lord was tempted as we are...as a man...not because He had a sin nature...you must reconcile all the scriptures ..and its clear He had no sin in Him.

Being fully man don't mean you have to have the perversion of sin.... Adam was fully man before the fall

You add to the scriptures to prove your error... Facing suffering His love for the Father and For us was tested...that don't mean he had "sin in the flesh" especially when the scriptures make clear He did not.

I'm not saying he sinned. I'm saying that his freshly will did not want to go the cross. I didn't make that up, that's what Jesus said. He put off his fleshly desire and did the will of the Father instead of his own will.

If you say fleshly in the since of "flesh and blood" man..yes "this term is used in scripture" Paul also uses the term "fleshly" to represent the sin in the flesh...which Christ did not have.

As a man He was tested and passed BECAUSE He did not have "sin in the flesh"

I wouldn't say it like that. Jesus was fully human, fully man, just as Adam was before the fall. He had to be to pay the price for man. God couldn't pay the price that man owed, so God became man. Just as sin entered by one man's offence, by the righteousness of one man came salvation.

Jesus was fully man, just without sin because he wasn't born after the lineage of Adam. Jesus was born by the word of God made flesh just like Adam. except for one aspect. Jesus had to be born through a woman because God had given the earth over to man.

Just as Mistpa has stated Jesus was tempted just like we are in every way. It's not a temptation if there is no desire to do it. Jesus however was the second Adam, the one who would not give in to temptation, maybe because he was also God. God and man at the same time. It's a great mystery. Satan certainly didn't understand it. The scriptures say that if he had, he would never had the Lord of Glory Crucified.
 
yes, He was 'tempted' by satan and by man, yet He never would/could
experience sin, as He is God, pure and Holy....not conceived in sin...

This really makes no sense. If you cannot possibly give in to temptation, then you are never really tempted.
