This is true, Wayne, yet the blame goes both ways. Rather than sharing, discussing and praying together about the Truth, hostility runs amok rather than the Fruit of the Spirit. I'm guilty of it, and so are you; half of your so far 200 posts have been attacks, but hopefully in time you will rise above it, as I am in the process of rising above it now. I had a late start in asking God to soften my heart, don't make the same mistake as I did by waiting too long. That said, I encourage you to read Scripture for yourself. You'll be amazed at the work of the Holy Spirit!
Wanted to post this again since there was no response from Z-Man. I see a pattern here.

Jesus should be your life and love, not an institution. That goes for everyone, not just you.

Your life is what? In Christ or the RC church? You do alot of talking and use almost no scripture to back it up.

2 Tim 2:15
Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

They're not being mean. They are trying to show you the many fallacies of the RCC and it's beliefs. But you have blinders on concerning the truth, that catholicism is vastly different from christianity. You label us mean haters because we dare tell you the truth, that we are to pray to and worship Jesus ONLY, and not venerate Mary as an intercessor, because she isn't, and she never could.

You should be upset. I was upset when I realized I was lost and on my way to hell. It was the Holy Spirit of God that revealed it to me and I thank God He did. If I had continued to wander in darkness I would have been lost for eternity.

Don't run from the Light turn to Him.

What is garbage to you is Eternal life in Heaven with God zzz98.

You need to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and follow His teachings only. You really need to turn away from the Catholic Church and follow God only. You cannot and will not find Salvation in Mary nor the Catholic Church.

Salvation is here and now, not in the distance future after you die like the Catholics teach.

John 3:16
[SUP]16 [/SUP] "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life.

Ephesians 2:8-9
[SUP]8 [/SUP] For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God;
[SUP]9 [/SUP] not as a result of works, that no one should boast.

We have received Salvation! We do not have to wait to die before we receive Salvation!

This is the biggest lie the Catholic Church has ever told you zzz98. You CAN have Salvation here and now, not later sometime in the future!

Well, I really got the shock of my life about what Catholics believe about Mary, which I posted on Blain's thread. I honestly thought Mary was a non-issue compared to the method and way of salvation according to Catholic doctrine.

But I was wrong! Mary is important, because Catholics do think they are saved by her, that she hears and answers prayers, besides all the nonsense about her being sinless. And the whole thing about Mary being "ever virgin" is also such garbage! Sexual intercourse within marriage is not, and never has been a sin! It is only pre or extra marital sex that are sin. So why on earth would Mary have stayed celibate when there was no condemnation for her?

What a complex system the RCC of salvation by works, through Mary, and the Church. And so unbiblcal!

How can a Catholic claim they walk with God when the reject His Truths in the Scriptures?

Clearly the Holy Spirit does say Mary was a sinner.

Romans 3:23
[SUP]23 [/SUP] for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God

The Holy Spirit clearly says that ALL have sinned and last time i checked all included Mary.

Romans 3:10
[SUP]10 [/SUP] as it is written, " THERE IS NONE RIGHTEOUS, NOT EVEN ONE;

No one is Righteous not even Mary.

Therefore Mary was born a sinner and was never Righteous.

The only person who was without sin and Righteous was Jesus. Not Jesus and Mary like the Corrupted Catholics teach.

Do you see how the Catholics try to justify their Worship of Mary as their God by claiming she was sinless and Righteous?

[SUP]6 [/SUP]But the righteousness of faith speaks in this way, “Do not say in your heart, ‘Who will ascend into heaven?’”[SUP][c][/SUP] (that is, to bring Christ down from above) [SUP]7 [/SUP]or, “‘Who will descend into the abyss?’”[SUP][d][/SUP] (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead). [SUP]8 [/SUP]But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart”[SUP][e][/SUP] (that is, the word of faith which we preach): [SUP]9 [/SUP]that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. [SUP]10 [/SUP]For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. [SUP]11 [/SUP]For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.”[SUP][f][/SUP] [SUP]12 [/SUP]For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him. [SUP]13 [/SUP]For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.”[SUP][g][/SUP]

The question that demands to be asked is "how can a Catholics who Worships Mary claim they have received Salvation?".

Can a person who believes and teaches that Mary is equal to and above God ever have the Indwelling of the Holy Spirit?

God clearly has said we cannot serve two Masters.

Matthew 6:24
[SUP]24 [/SUP] " No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will hold to one and despise the other.

Catholics cannot serve God and Mary!

I have a difficult time accepting another person's interpretation of another group of people's belief(s). I have an especially difficult time with CC's response to those who hold different belief(s). Christians are called to love our enemies and pray for them (Matt 5:44). Christians are called to be unified--not divided (1 Cor 1:10-13). We are not called to judge another man's faith--there is only One Judge (James 4:11-12).

48 Then he said to them, “Whoever welcomes this little child in my name welcomes me; and whoever welcomes me welcomes the one who sent me. For it is the one who is least among you all who is the greatest.”

49 “Master,” said John, “we saw someone driving out demons in your name and we tried to stop him, because he is not one of us.

50 “Do not stop him,” Jesus said, “for whoever is not against you is for you.”

Luke 9:48-50 New International Version (NIV)

Some believe it is not love to allow our brothers and sisters to continue in egregious error. Yet it seems each person is convinced of their own way and righteousness before God. Upon what is this belief based? If the belief is not based on the revealed written Word of God, if it cannot be confirmed by Scripture, it is useless, according to some, and amounts to not worshipping God in spirit and in truth. According to others, Scripture alone is not enough. They have added doctrines and dogmas and traditions of man and said, these too, you must believe, you must follow, you must practice, or your faith is for naught. Choose this day whom you will serve.

True, we are not to judge those who do not follow Jesus as their Lord and Savior. But we ARE told to bring the Good news of the Gospel of Salvation to these people!

1 Corinthians 1:17-18
[SUP]17 [/SUP] For Christ did not send me to baptize, but to preach the gospel, not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of no effect.
[SUP]18 [/SUP] For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.

We got people on this site who teach water baptism washes sins away. We have people here who teach one cannot be saved unless they are water baptized. That is an arm of Catholic doctrine reaching it's tentacles on CC and is damnable heresy!
