How do I let my light shine in a high school full of kids who aren't like me at all?

I also study in a school with students in different religions. All i can do is to help them as much as possible. Probably help them to undestand a lesson or to lend them my note books so that they can make their own notes. Especially i do this bcs i cannot tell them about my religion in words. I mean like, they have atrongly held their own religions. So all i can do is to represent Christ through my deeds.
Don't forget about PRAYER, ladies!
While it seems like prayer isn't very "active," and people will apologize for it (I'm sorry, all I can do is pray for you), I think prayer may be our most powerful spiritual weapon.
I would begin praying for your classmates. If you are involved in a youth group or other gathering of Christians, ask them to pray for your classmates as well. The more committed you are to prayer for these people, the more compassion and love will grow in your heart for them.
Also, prayer helps prepare YOU for those moments of opportunity to verbally share God with others--it will help you recognize those moments, and give you courage to speak.

I agree with poetMary here, but let me add living your faith is a big way to let your light shine. That is what I did in highschool....I even had a few teachers and students ask me about God. I also liked a bracelet I wore...It led to a lot of discussions
First make sure your faith is grounded. You may do well in highschool, but it is the college professor atheists who love to take young innocent christians and grind them up with their hateful bigotry and turn you into one of them. Expect this because your in the world. You can start by getting to know your Bible better and be a student of the word, so read daily.
Once your grounded, you will naturall shine, but the second thing you must do is see the end before you see the beginning. One day we will all be standing before God. We will see the earth burn up like a crisp and all the works in it. The only thing that will matter then is what side of the line your on when it comes time for judgement. It will not be your grades, your high-school friends, or all the silly games people play in highschool. Now imagine the shock, terror, and fear of those people who decided to not be with Christ.
You see it doesn't matter if they like you or love you, they NEED Christ. So let their judgements about you as a person fall where it may, but stand for your God, for your peers will wish they stood for him when that day comes.

I'm glad to see some people that are older than teens answering this post, thank you all for your insight and help! daisha435, I'm proud of you for being concerned about this, for even taking the time to think about and ponder it.
Set yourself apart (not in a holier-than-thou kind of way, but hey, as a christian, you shouldn't be doing all of the things that your non-christian classmates are doing), ask yourself before you do something/wear something/say something, "will this damage my christian witness? is this something Christ would have me do?" And as PoetMary said, Pray!! A hugely important and greatly neglected part of the christian walk.
