So in other words, "Don't speak woman...you are only good for your looks". Please let me get in line for that sort of amazing treatment. Also...I'm not beautiful. I imagine that would make things confusing and/or irritating.

Also, you get no cookies. I don't bake...I lay in bed and eat the raw cookie dough. You're welcome, thighs.

Yes, I definitely meant exactly that. There is no possibility that this is a perfect example of what I meant by political correctness :p

Ha ha ha Melita. That didn't take you long. I thought I was the biggest cookie monster here until now. It appears I have competition.
 
Best time to eat the cookie is 3-5 minutes after pulling them out of the oven. When the cookie dough and chocolate chips are nice and hot. Especially if you're using half butter and half margarine. The cookie should stay soft even after cool down.

Because of this post, I'm totally going to bake cookies today.

And, btw, thanks for the tip. I've never used half butter/half margarine to keep them soft. You've tried it before? How long do they typically stay soft for?
