Psalm 50, v 14 & 15 (Living Bible - italics included)

What I want from you is your true thanks; I want your promises fulfilled. I want you to trust me in your times of trouble, so I can rescue you, and you can give me glory.

'Cause of you,
I automatically thought
about Nahum 1:7
Then next to this,
I'll post Nahum 1:7
as my next verse!

John 5:24

I tell you for certain

that everyone

who hears my message

and has faith in the one

who sent me has eternal life

and will never be condemned.

They have already gone from death to life.

on snakes and scorpions

&
to defeat the power of your enemy Satan.

John 3:16

God loved the people of this world
so much that he gave his only Son,
so that everyone who has faith in him
will have eternal life and never really die.

Ephesians 1:5

God was kind
and decided
that Christ
would choose us
to be God's own
adopted children.

Psalm 46:
[SUP]1 [/SUP]God is our refuge and strength,
an ever-present help in trouble.
[SUP]2 [/SUP]Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way
and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea,
[SUP]3 [/SUP]though its waters roar and foam
and the mountains quake with their surging.[SUP][[/SUP]

Fear is something big for us humans,
but God isn't afraid at all of anything.

The other verses that came to mind when you said that fear is something big for humans but that God isn't afraid of anything.

The first verse is

Proverbs 9:10 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.

Fear can be healthy we need to fear or have an awesome respect for the Lord. However we should not have fear of other things.

Romans 8:15 The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship. And by him we cry, “Abba, Father.”

1John 4:18 There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.

The verse of the night:

Isaiah 1:18

I, the Lord,
am the one speaking to you.
Come, let's discuss this.
Even if your sins are as dark as red dye,
that stain can be removed
and you will be as pure as wool
that is as white as snow.
