Each country has his own religion,
China, Buddhism majority.
Iran, Muslims majority.
Canada, Catholicism majority.

From my opinion,
even if we pray and pray
for the whole world,
there will always have
septic people there
or people grounded on their religion.

Anyway,
I'll let others tell what
they are thinking about this idea.

Good Evening Friends in the Indian Christian Forum.
Praise God for our country India. May there be more praying people world wide for the country for its people & the Government in power.
God is in Control & without his knowledge nothing happens.

2 Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, 2 for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. 3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior.

We in our worship service every week pray for the Government & those in authority to grant wisdom & understanding to lead the people. - This is a part of the liturgy followed.

Do not be so HARSH on such a beautiful country. Everyone has a full freedom to practice what ever they want, unless it is hurting someone's feelings. India is a secular country and that is the best part, every one can say what ever they want.

Everyone here can do whatever they want. Hence please do not try to spread negative sentiments between people.

Thanks

Christians are getting persecuted around the globe no doubt and whoever favour they seek we must seek the favour of our Lord Jesus because death will come to everyone but we need to go to heaven and live with God in heaven

India is SUPPOSED TO BE a secular country. But ever since Mr. Narendra Modi was elected, that concept has been thrown out the window. The BJP wants a Hindu India, and will do little or nothing to protect other religious minorities.

And the reason the BJP is in power is because the Congress Party MISERABLY FAILED INDIA. This party had about 65 years to get its act together, but instead of doing what was right for the country as a whole, they played political games.

Each country has his own religion,
I don't believe you understand the issue in India. Even though it has a majority of Hindus, the Constitution of India (which is a democratic republic) guaranteed freedom of religion (which also meant protecting the rights of religious minorities).

Had Mahatma Gandhi lived to give direction to India at the beginning, things could have been quite different. Also, Mr. Jawaharlal Nehru was essentially a secularist, but he was also a Socialist and too friendly with the Communists. Ever since his demise India went down the drain (when it came to maintaining a secular government). And Indira Gandhi's opposition to the Sikhs (and the attack on the Golden Temple) probably turned the tide.

India is undergoing a dramatic change in many ways. Since 2014 the govt in power has become more militant against the minorities and Christians in particular. Churches are facing all kinds of difficulties to spread the word of God. A renewed call to pray for the churches needs to go out from Christians all over the world.

I think that is a fair assessment of affair in India but at the same time there are many other reasons why the party in power today BJP is able to get 90% followers. They use all kinds of tricks to sway people to their own ideologies and they use aggressive militant ways embellished by lies to get peoples favour.

I'm an Indian and I love my country India, and pray for her to come to Christ and be saved. Yes, unfortunately there is persecution, from extremists and fundamentalists; but it should be noted most Hindus are fair, broad-minded and secular. They don't favor or promote religious persecution. But unfortunately some narrow-minded ideologues have been pushing their hateful ideas that we Christians are supposedly a threat to the country recently. I pray for Peace and Love to flourish. May God Bless India.
