I should tell this story...... My kids don't appreciate it, even though they are all in the their 30's and should have gotten over it by now. Hahaha!! As they were growing up, I told each of my three kids that they were my favorite and not to tell the other two. When they were all in high school, they decided to argue about who was my favorite. Each of them told the other two that I favored them. All of a sudden they realized what I had done and all three confronted me. But I was laughing so hard at being busted, the madder they got, the more hysterical I was. I explained that they were all my favorites. I'm laughing my head off thinking about it now. It just gets funnier and funnier to me.

My favourites are those I regularly interact with. I won't name names. But I will tell you my least favourite person on CC. I don't know who they are and what their problem is, but they get banned countless (and I mean countless) times and return under many, many different names. I call him/she/it Jack. And I don't like them one iota. Not one bit. Not with green eggs and ham or while seated with Morgan Freeman (who is pretty awesome, but Jack ruins everything).

I goof thee not. We haven't actually had many direct exchanges, but I've come to respect and value your posts here quite a bit. You are the cat's pajamas, Willie.

EDIT: To clarify, the people I've listed are - for the most part - people I've had at least a couple of private exchanges with at one point or another; people I've actually gotten to know. Only a select few on there I've never talked with one-on-one, but I like what they have to say and how they carry themselves on the boards here.

Everyone on cc is family to me even the ones who put me on ignore or who dislike me. I can't say I have favorites but I do have certain ppl who affect my heart in major ways. Psycho mom for instance, my heart is always aching because I never see her on here anymore and I have no way to reach her. She was the first actual mother to me and her words always touched and inspired me. jesus lives was the second mother I ever had and I will always have such warm feelings about her, tourist is like a father figure to me not just because he married mom Blue lady bug and I have been very close friends for a long time Ricky Z has always seemed to understand me even when others misinterpret what I say Yet is stubborn but he is like a brother to me I can easily see if we were actual brothers we would be the ones who butt heads a lot but really care about each other, steph of course is the love of my life and believe me when I say she deserves someone far better than me Angela has always helped keep in line to make sure I go by the word even though at first I didn't listen.

I can keep going on and on and on and on about everyone here and how they have taught me how they have affected me how much they mean to me but no one wants to read the very very long post that would be

I can see how the question could be looked at two different ways so I will understand If the likes given are removed but what I mean by ..."Is this an encouraging thread"...meant those that are mentioned would smile but we are suppose to show love to everyone and a thread like this is not of the right spirit.

IE
When I was a kid In 5th grade,everyday the janitor would come by with a carton with trays of chocolate milk and he would go from person to person giving them milk for a dime and the teacher would always say something good about each person that bought the chocolate milk,but for some reason when he stopped at my desk she always put me down with something negative and me being a kid I wanted the milk but now I'm grown and I don't know the OP's heart but I recognize that spirit.

My "like" remains brother. I knew exactly what you meant. I agree with you. This thread in none other than being part of a popularity club. Its childish and it ends up hurting those who arent included but thought they would be.

It's all in the eyes of the reader. I read this thread as nothing but edifying Coming here expecting to be mentioned, I think, is what's childish though, tbh.
