So many powerful emotions surrounding this tragedy........fear, anger, prejudice, patriotism, sadness, regret, outrage

I asked God help me sort it out, help me to see what He saw.......

and it was lost sheep,

not political ideaologies, not governments but individuals, people that needed Him.

We are the answer, our prayers, we fight the good fight with His love not our anger.

You're right, dear Sister, we are to love them, and the greatest gift of love we can give them is asking God to open their eyes to His Truth, Love and Glory in Jesus Christ. In the meantime, they need to be eradicated from this world with extreme diligence.

This dear Muslim friend of mine said that he couldn't believe that I was actually being nice to him. I asked him why he said this and he told me that many Christians, like yourself there Mitspa (maybe you're not Christian, not sure), call him evil, try to stare him down, have even spit on him, and treat him like he's the plague when he walks by. I had to explain to this man that this isn't what Christianity is really about and that we're suppose to be like Jesus....and I didn't see a lot of people on this post being like Jesus...
Have you tried telling your friend that Muslims are rightfully feared and hated by the world, for the simple reason that the vast majority of religious violence in the world today is done by Muslims against both Muslims and non-muslims?

I never said that Islam wasn't a violent religion...but peaceful Muslims are NOT the issue here. It's radical and mentally disturbed people. Imagine growing up in a war torn country and a gun is placed into your hand at a young age, they drill it into your head that this is right, that if you don't do this or that then you will die, that if you kill yourself for this purpose then you will be rewarded after death. Christianity had it's own problem with people like this for a LONG time but it has changed in the past 100 years...we just have idiots like the westboro baptist church.

The real reason is that these groups of extremist have been created are because of RECENT events, as in the past 20 years ago...not 1000 years ago. As I stated, a lot of the countries and cities in the middle east were a lot more peaceful until the US started messing around before and after 9/11...
You've drank the Kool-Aid. :(

How do you make disciples by isolating people?

Big difference between murder and self defense. I will kill if necessary in self defense against any and all life-hating, murderous thugs and their apologetic, sympathetic drones. Keep drinking the Kool-Aid.

That's between God and them. We can and should pray for them. In the meantime, we have the God-given right and obligation to make this world safe against evil incarnate.

It might help the conversation if people knew that virtually all jihadist violence today is done by the salafist (wahabi) Sunnis. Saudi Arabia is the epicenter for spreading wahabi doctrine around the world.

I understand what you are saying. You claim that the Islamic belief system is harmful. But you do understand that there are different denominations of Islam the same way there are different denominations of christianity. Not all muslims believe in murdering infidels beleive it or not. In fact I have met muslims that had to flee their country because they were fighting against the radical muslims that believe this way. Nazis and kkk people usually call themselves christians. I suppose they would be the bad apples of christianity the same way the muslim terrorists would be the bad apples of Islam.
Look friend ..that's like saying some Nazis are not as bad as other Nazis ..or they was some radical Nazis and some that just joined the party... No the whole stinking religion is corrupt and has proven itself as a religion of hate, murder and rape ... and none of these so-called moderate elements of this religion has made any attempt to resist these killers and all I have ever seen is them dance in the streets when westerners are killed.... So you say their are some moderates ... I say they was some moderate Nazis ...same thing

And if I were the U.S. President on 9/11/01 Mecca would have been incinerated for that very reason.

If God calls you to go preach the gospel to muslims ...go preach...but I promise God is not telling you to allow killers to just walk into your country or to not bring justice upon such people.

His love defends the weak and innocent from the wicked...its not "love" to allow these people to murder and rape...that's just insanity and evil.... I don't believe God told you to see these killers as sheep...but wolves killing sheep.

My prayers and condolences go out to the families and friends/spouses of those effected by it all. Either directly or indirectly.

You have to ask, what is the purpose/reason/motivation of it all? What is the goal they wish to achieve?

If it is for everyone to close their doors and stay inside then they have won.

911 we never let them do that to us.

You always have been and still are the city of dreams.

And we still have a dream!

711 we never let them do that to us.

You always have been and still are the city of hope.

And we still have hope!

Paris do not let them do that to you or they have won.

You always have been and still are the city of love.

And we still have love!

Vive la Paris!

Comments are suggesting to isolate all muslims. So I ask again, if such thing happens, how do you minister them to Christ? God uses people to make disciples. That's why Jesus instructs us to do such thing.

We must all pray for those effected either directly or indirectly. The families, friends and spouses of those. Even to those behind such atrocious, barbaric acts. While it's only human that our first response is one of disgust and hate for those that are behind such acts as there is no place for this in modern society. These are people that believe that are doing something in the name of God, for God. But that's because they've been brainwashed to believe that. Also there are a lot more reasons behind it. Some people are just horrible bastards and want to do despicable acts and gun people down, blow people up etc because that's what people in a fallen modern cursed world cut off from its creator are like. I guess my words come as a shock to some people. Just like how some people are surprised that these sorts of things even actually happen. And they cannot understand the full reasons why. So like most bombings or killings lately or even going back hundreds/thousands of years, are shrouded in mystery. After all, we don't know the bigger picture behind it, we don't know what really makes people tick, what inspires them or what they believe or not. Why they do the things they do. Although it can probably be guestimated. Nobody is predictable either. The most timid, kindest person can turn into a merciless killer when inspired by other people, when its all you have, when you don't know any better/different. What I'm saying is, we live in a fallen world, so you cannot be shocked and surprised when these things happen. Does that make it any easier or less wrong? Are we any less shocked when they do? No. Should these people and all of those behind it be brought to justice? Yes. For all intents and purposes. How should we go about doing that? It might involve the use of more violence and more bloodshed. Both sides retaliating or revenging earlier attacks and both sides premeditating attacks/killings in the hope it will prevent further future attacks/killings with "all good reason" but really what they are doing is just making the stain bigger.

And as we know, it is only the blood of Jesus that can clean that stain whiter than white! And that's ALREADY been shed! We have already won. The world is ALREADY overcome! That's why Jesus said be of good cheer.

John 16:33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

So my prayers go out to both sides once again. Those affected by the acts and those effecting them. That through it all, they come closer to knowing the truth and that the truth is Jesus. And that truth will set us free, and set us free indeed from old hairy legs who we all know is the real perpetrator behind it all.

They're mostly Shiites in Iran. They run their mouths a lot, but I'm pretty sure they don't do the jihadist, takfiri type violence like Al Queda, ISIS, Muslim Brotherhood, etc.

There were moderate Nazis. Look into the attempts they made to assassinate Hitler. That's the difference I see... moderate Muslims are doing nothing to contain the radical ones.

And if it weren't for George W, we wouldn't have ISIS to contend with. So while you're stringing them up for being the radicals they are, string up ol' George as well.

The problem is the Koran. Today the so called extremsts are simply going back to their Book. It's what the Koran teaches.
If Christians got serious and got back to their Book, they would be sharing the Gospel in word and deed.
There is no comparison between the two faiths when one takes into account the basis of their beliefs.
