My two cents;
Lara: I agree that we should try to learn not to use idioms / expressions etc that are based on racial stereotypes or racism.
Blue: I am pretty sure you don't have anything against Indians (or other groups of people), and doubt the average American using that expression is either.

Let's all play nice and be friends. Pretty please?

Nope. I'm just a white dude that grew up on an Indian reservation. I do know what it is like to be looked down on because of my skin color. I've been beat up, chased home from school and called names because I am white. With that said...in some ways I identify as Indian. I know the culture and people and I love many of them who I know personally. I've been at their celebrations and have eaten with them, cried with them and laughed with them. I understand the culture and the Assiniboine/souix people and there are many who I absolutely adore. There are also some who I don't so much adore. Lol

Oh.. I get it!! :)

Here in Brazil is kinda hard to be anything... we are a jumble of everything mixed together... huahuahuahuahua people have darker skin or lighter skin, but the majority of the population is that medium brownish whitish yellowish color... oh well... :)

I've never been looked down around here because of my color... the first time it happened was during a trip to America... not a pleasant experience... but I felt sorry for the person... only narrow minded people act like that...
 
My favorite people are:

Sirk- he lets me throw him overboard
Mitspa- he doesn't care if I give him a hard time
Utah- he makes me spit my coffee out on the computer screen

Haha I didn't get that for the longest time. I would see Brazilian fighters in UFC who were white, brown, and dark black all identifying as fully Brazilian and speaking Portuguese and I'd be like "wait a minute...."
