Or if she is Hillary who has 65% of the American people who thinks she is untrustworthy. Anyone that is running on the conservative side will beat her by a landslide....not to mention its more likely than not that the FBI will charge her with crimes related to her email crimes.
You probably thought Romney was going to win by a landslide as well. Don't listen to right wing media, studies show it makes you less informed.

Suppose you're a Christian living in Mexico. Do you complain to God that your standard of living isn't satisfactory and that you deserve better? Do you make the decision to disobey the laws of the U.S. and cross illegally into the U.S. in hopes of fleecing U.S. taxpayers and receiving U.S. government entitlements meant for their citizens? Sure, you're willing to pick crops or do landscaping or house cleaning for low wages. The same type of things you did back home. As a Mexican Christian, why didn't you visit a local government office and fill out a form and apply for a work visa? Then work your way through the legal process of becoming an American citizen.

The difference between the left and the right in the U.S. seems to be that the left feels our borders and our laws can be ignored, while the right feels we have offered foreign immigrants an opportunity to become guest workers and permanent citizens if they merely follow the immigration laws. What you call gestapo is nothing more than law officers enforcing existing laws and sending criminals back to their country of origin.

In regards to Donald Trump and his viability as a Presidential candidate, I keep thinking of the following exchange from Casablanca;

[about Rick] Major Strasser: You give him credit for too much cleverness. My impression was that he's just another blundering American.
Captain Renault: We musn't underestimate "American blundering". I was with them when they "blundered" into Berlin in 1918.

Donald Trump at times appears to be blundering. We all can see that. Yet he is clearly leading in the polls. Why? The conservative American voter has been supporting conservative, experienced, thoughtful candidates like your personal favorite, John Kasich, for many years and they have not seen the results they hoped to see. Government is not smaller. Deficit spending has increased. The debt is out of control. Immigration has not been slowed and illegal immigrants are being offered amnesty. Voting for typical Republican candidates, for many people, is voting for the status quo. People want an outsider who will shake things up, no matter how absurd they may seem. Trump and Carson are leading precisely because they are not experienced politicians who have failed voters. They are clearly flawed people, but they are tapping into an electorate that is fed up, unlike you, and wants something different.
On the first part, supposing I was a Mexican I'd probably all ready be dead. Their little new age cult of death idols makes a tempting target for the heart of the iconoclast. My view is many of them don't even know or fully understand the laws of America, but merely fled as fast as they can the war and terror in Mexico. On top of that the plans to make them citizens include penalties for crossing the border illegally, such as paying a fee/back taxes. The Christian elements of the Hispanic immigrants will be able and willing to pay this. Remember the story of the Exodus and when the children of Israel had to cross many borders in the wilderness. Those that helped them God did bless and those that cursed them God did curse.

As for the second part, the conservative American voter has not been supporting conservative, experienced, nor thoughtful candidates like John Kasich. That is why they lose so much and that is why even when they win they never do any good. The maddening part of the whole thing is for once the GOP actually has candidates that have good records. Kasich is the foremost, but he's not the only one, even Jeb Bush got a decent enough record. Huckabee got a good record and was even on the frontline doing our bidding to release Kim Davis. Cruz kinda fresh-faced, but even he is more tangible and has helped us to try to stifle Obamacare and the Iran Deal. Trump and Carson represent why Romney was rejected, a snobby rich guy and a member of a non-Christian sect.

No I and many other conservatives rejected Romney completely as a establishment hack...that why he lost and that's why you see the conservatives taking over the party now...we are tired of these fake conservatives and establishment republicans who are no different than the Democrats.

No conservative thought Romney was going to win...and we know for sure the conservatives are winning all over the nation.

.
Now I'm beginning to understand how you look at this. I believe they all know the difference between applying for a green card and breaking the law and paying a coyote to smuggle them across the border. So I doubt any of them don't understand the difference. Also, why do you think any of them are Christians? I've never spoken to a single Mexican who has come to the U.S. who stated they were born again Christians. And what and where is this war in Mexico that you refer to? There is lawless drug cartels, but that effects maybe a couple percent of the population. Each year, more and more Canadians and Americans drive their RV's over the border to spend the winters along the Pacific coast of Mexico. House Hunters International runs dozens of shows where Americans move to various cities in Mexico to live and work. Tourism is still booming in many coastal towns. It's like saying that because young thugs in Chicago keep murdering each other, there should be a flood of Americans fleeing the country as refugees. It's absurd. All of the Mexicans crossing the border could easily move to a better part of Mexico to find work or get away from drug violence. That's not to say people entering the U.S. illegally won't try to say they are fleeing for their lives, if they think we will simply believe them and let them enter.

Hispanics are generally Christians or come from a Christian background at least. America is a nation of immigrants, we're going to get millions of immigrants anyways. Way I figure if Obama can import muslims and the GOP can import white European atheists, then certainly room can be made for the hispanic Christians. To boot they're not getting a free pass, the current feasible immigration plans call for them to pay some sort of penalty. The Christians will, the gangsters won't. Therefore we'll keep the Christians and ya'll can deport the gangsters and there won't be nary a complaint from me.

As for the war in Mexico, indeed I refer to the Narco-Civil War as it is called. Consider more have perished or vanished in the turmoil in Mexico from 2007 to present than US soldiers perished in Iraq and Afghanistan combined over 14 years. That's a heck of a problem, I really can't blame anyone for wanting to escape from that or to have their family escape. The challenge is separating the Christians from the dross indeed, and it won't be easy indeed. Nevertheless even for the sake of saving even but one family of Christians it is worth it.

And if we are Christians all the more reason for us to grant our Christian brothers mercy and clemency seeing as they have to flee their homelands because of the violence of gangsters and the dark followers of the cult of the grim reaper..

Mexican people overwhelmingly are Roman Catholics, for whatever that is worth. The U.S. is a nation of laws, including immigration laws. I don't know of any GOP campaign to import white European atheists. Can you provide a link to that assertion? What we need is less immigration of low skilled low wage earners to drive down wages in the U.S. Do like many countries do and only allow people in who have specific skills and will not be a burden. This disqualifies most Mexican immigrants.

Take a look at my thread about the 12 things that kill the most Americans. It's probably similar to the greatest risks in Mexico. Second hand smoke kills more people than both those wars and drug killings in Mexico. 90% of Mexico seems suitable for them as it has become the destination of many retired North Americans. Fines won't cover 2% of the cost to letting them stay. Maybe if they agree to join the army and fight terrorist for five years, we can move them up in line.

If the US be a nation of laws, even immigration laws, then it be prudent in my opinion to see the precepts from which they were founded, and I see no conflict with my Christianization of their laws with exception to the fact the government cannot make an outright religious test for immigrants, but on that we still have leeway to be creative to sift the Christians from the non-Christians.

Not like the brazen giant of Greek fame,
With conquering limbs astride from land to land;
Here at our sea-washed, sunset gates shall stand
A mighty woman with a torch, whose flame
Is the imprisoned lightning, and her name
Mother of Exiles. From her beacon-hand
Glows world-wide welcome; her mild eyes command
The air-bridged harbor that twin cities frame.

"Keep, ancient lands, your storied pomp!" cries she
With silent lips. "Give me your tired, your poor,
Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,
The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.
Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me,
I lift my lamp beside the golden door!"

Sure we have lots of laws that allow folks to come in legally ...im for those laws and for allowing good Christian people to come in ...I would put them in the front of the LEGAL line... But Obama has already made clear he don't want no more stinking Christians in this country.

They're all ready here, and some are somewhat settled. Makes me think we could grant them some sort of temporary residency while they wait to become citizens. That or if they can pay a fine instead as has been floated by some GOPers, or some other sort of qualification like to join the army as Sinnerman suggested that they could fast-track. There's a whole lot other creative ideas we can think of working together. I'm not gonna send or support sending a bunch of people out to the desert to die or into the hands of the some of the most ruthless gangsters on earth though. On that I will not budge, especially when a good number of them are Christians.

We got sold that story 15 years ago...not buying that again...the GOP is as dirty as the Dems on this issue ... if we get Trump or one of the outsiders ..at least we will get a real fence ..and can get rid of some of the criminals.

What burns me is: I am married to a Philippine woman, both of us are pastors, with a church/mission here, . I have lived in the Philippines, 8yrs, I will have to"partition" my philippine wife, which will make me a liar, because I can not resettle in the usa, because I reinvested all my savings in the Phil.. I will have to get a pastoring job for the both of us in the states, and work there to raise support for our work here. I will stay in the states for a yr. or 2, then come back to the Phil. for the rest of my life.??? I am 72 Yrs old, No poor phil.s are allowed in the states on a visiting visa. What burns me? All these illegals are getting all the blessings of USA. I get none. I earned my Soc. Sec. I hope it lasts. Love to all Hoffco

Trump wants to establish a deportation force and change the definition of citizenship. Don't people get it yet?

America has been wracked by back to back failed administrations. We had the inexperienced candidate disaster with Obama. Not looking for a repeat. We can't even take the chance of another like that if it can be avoided. Need someone with strong experience and good record on economic matters, particularly on turning around bad economic situations into good, or at this point just sustainable even. Got Kasich, got Jeb, and got Huckabee all three strong on that front. The GOP for once has some candidates that got good records, such things have been rare in US politics this century, might not get such a good chance again for a while to turn the ship around.

I am sorry to hear of this trouble for you sir Hoffco. Pertaining to immigration though and possible solutions to try work towards, would like a solution for that be some sort of residency at the least or amnesty for a wife of a citizen? To be frank I thought it was all ready something in place for that, but will have to look into it. I don't agree with partitioning a couple at all, especially for making it hard for citizens and their families to return.

I don't fully understand why the polls are indicating so much frustration with traditional Republican candidates. Maybe people view the following and conclude traditional conservative politicians have failed them.

Conservatives want to end legal abortions. Liberals want to allow abortion on demand, no matter how late term it is. Conservatives have lost the battle.

Conservatives do not approve of gay marriage or a homosexual lifestyle. Liberals celebrate gay marriage and the homosexual lifestyle. The liberals have now won.

Conservatives have wanted to secure our borders and deport illegal immigrants. Liberals want open borders and they want to allow all illegals currently in the U.S. to be given amnesty. The liberals are winning and conservative politicians have all but given up.

Conservative politicians promised smaller government and reduced deficit spending. Liberals never run out of ways to spend more and give away more. Conservative politicians are now running for office promising to increase spending and increase the debt.

People who have traditionally voted for conservative candidates feel the results are no different than if they voted for a liberal. Conservatives have not kept their promises. They have failed to deliver. Voters are looking at other options. What is the most radical candidate they can support to send a message they are fed up? Donald Trump. Certainly not a candidate who has been in office for years and allowed liberal Democrats to set the agenda.

Lol, if you make Trump the nominee then Hillary will win big. His immigration ideas are indeed a big part of why he will lose big in the General Election. Frankly his immigration platform went from mildly racist and fantastical to Orwellian and super racist. So Trump wants to change the definition of citizenship, and create his own little deportation force. At least deport is the word used for now.

Don't forget about this year's trendy Trump piñatas either.

Heck, I bet even a few FOX News anchors would secretly vote Hillary or sit out the election all together rather than vote Trump. Can't wait to see Megyn Kelly get another crack at Trump though. I think she got the better of him last time, she had some poignant points why Trump should not and cannot win the presidency.
Nah....did you see the email that Huma sent out that Hillary is "confused a lot". Hillary will get eaten alive. Kinda like obama did in the Kroft interview...only lot's more people will see it.

We the conservatives don't trust these guys...well maybe Huck? But bush would be just another Democrat ...Kasich seems completely deaf to the desires of conservatives and like Obama seems only interesting in lecturing conservatives about how he is smarter than those that want real reform on the immigration issue...he blew his chance last debate with his speaking down to those who think our laws should be upheld. I still think Cruz or whats his name has a shot to win conservatives...but be sure the conservatives are going to decide who represents us this time and it wont be another Mccain or Romney ..we tried that and lost to the worst possible candidate in history both times.

I can explain it to you...they talk about what they believe but in the end all they ever really try to do is what the wealthy class wants them to do...they pretend to hold social values that the people desire ..but when push comes to shove..they never stand up past just a pretense. They been promises for years to correct the immigration mess that drives down the wages of the working class...but the rich folks like cheap labor ..so they play a word game and vote with the dems. They pretend to be against abortion and for traditional marriage ..but when its time to establish a new SC judge they put up some half hearted conservative. they never fight against the liberals judges being put on the court.... You know in a nation where the majority is evangelical Christians ...not one judge on the court to represent our views in a legal way.

"We are fools for Christ's sake...We must pray for the courage to endure the scorn of the sophisticated world."

Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia

Judge Scalia may be the last good judge Christians and Conservatives can believe in.
