Well, you see, there is dessert/ice cream socials, and then there is potlucks. They are two different things. So if we had a dessert social, my spaghetti would be quite rather out of place... So I need to know which one it it before I start cooking for a small army...
Oooooohhh the Lord is good to me,
and so I thank the Lord
for giving me the things I need
the sun and the rain and the apple seed
the Lord is good to me
[Johhny Appleseed]
Amen!
[Dig in!]
Thank you, Reborn
Actually, it's a bit more complicated than that. I breed Rainbow Squirrels, a rare breed of squirrel native to southern Ontario. Once every two months, these squirrels shed their fur. I take this shed fur and boil it in water for exactly six minutes; any shorter and it won't be effective, any longer and the fur loses it's integrity. After it's been boiled, I ring it out and hang it to dry for 24 hours. Once the 24 hours is up, I cut it into small pieces and mix it in a large bowl with one cup of whipped cream, two tablespoons of pure vanilla extract, a pinch of fairy dust, and one teaspoon of baking soda. The baking soda must be very precise; if there's even the tiniest bit too much, it will result in eventual spontaneous combustion of my hair. After this is mixed, it must sit for thirty minutes. I then spread the mixture all over my hair, careful to avoid the skin. I leave it on for twenty minutes, then rinse it out using a special mixture of maple syrup and marshmallow fluff. And then the process is complete

FOR ALL OF YOU WHO DON'T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT RAINBOW SQUIRRELS, THEIR FUR LOSES ITS COLOR-DYING PROPERTIES AFTER THE HAIR LEAVES THE BODY OR THE SQUIRREL DIES.
SKITTLEPUMPKIN IS BOILING SQUIRRELS ALIVE FOR VANITY SAKE!

This is one of the best explanations I've ever read, and it rivals randomness of the quality that MissCris used to be famous for. You two could write tremendous novels together.
