I know you are.. I think we were trying to point out that the homosexual is no more righteous or less righteous than you are. When it comes to Gods standard, everyone of us fall short.
So who is it that inherits the kingdom of God? Who is righteous enough to do that?

Unrighteousness will not inherit the kingdom of God is the question. so who can inherit it if we are all unrighteous?

We have never taught that we should get as close to sin as we can without actually committing the act. Thats dangerous and the Bible doesn't teach that concept. As this article on homosexual celibacy points out...
The definingelement of same-sex attraction is desire for a sexual relationship with someone of the same sex. Once that desire is removed, it is no longer SSA. It is just friendship. In that sense, same-sex attraction is not a means to better, more holy friendships. It is an impediment to them. When one feels himself desiring a sexual relationship with a person of the same-sex, the only appropriate response is repentance from sin (2 Tim. 2:22). It is not right or helpful to think of that sinful attraction as the foundation for building holy friendships. It is not.
The nature of those attractions, as a matter of fact, is precisely what is in dispute at the moment. My hunch is that the Roman Catholic influence at spiritualfriendship.org has something to do with our differences over this question. Roman Catholics have historically approached the issue of indwelling sin much differently than Reformed protestants. The Roman Catholic view of “desire/lust” (or “concupiscence”) is that it is not necessarily sinful. As I mentioned earlier this week, the evangelical position has in the main taught the opposite. Reformed evangelicals believe that theBible teaches that desire for sin is sin.

Your the one who brought the passage up (romans 1), W know those who practice sin will not inherit the kingdom. But who will. thats the point she was trying to make. What makes you different from them. Your not more perfect (righteous) so what is it that separates you from them?
Say what? That being gay in and of itself is not a sin? How many times do I need to say it? You may as well say that being human in and of itself is a sin.

I'm not upset at all. I'm actually pretty happy. I'm not more perfect or more righteous. Not sure where you are getting this? This thread is about witnessing to homosexuals and it was brought up where does it say homosexuality is a sin. That is why I brought that up? Did you read the entire thread?
