I can disprove god

I'm probably wrong, but I took this post as sarcastic, in the sense that he is NOT an atheist. Most atheists I've talked to relish the idea of questions. Kinda like me saying " I can prove I can fly, as long as you don't ask me to show you me flying".

He's probably just out to get a rise out of Christians and a snicker for himself, with no real intent to disprove God.

Having said that, let's fill the thread with the Gospel in case he checks back from time to time. Maybe the Lord will work in his heart.

Darkmatter will be back and most likely under a new username, He clearly has some beef with Christians either that or he is extremely bored all the time lol. However I wonder why some ppl have such an obsession with trolling Christian sites I mean I know that it's a sport among certain ppl but what is to be gained by upsetting ppl who believe in God? I mean how does this in any way better anyone's life in any way?

I know that as kid's we loved to upset our siblings and we were into childish things like purposely annoying each other but if atheists really believe they are correct and we are wrong then what they should be doing is working to build a better future and better world even making their marks in history instead of wasting time trolling us

Nope you can absolutely convince yourself God does not exist no matter what anyone says, you don't want God to exist and nobody can prove God exist the same exact way you can't PROVE He doesn't exist. Your whole approach to this is already decided and completely bias, and I'm willing to bet if an angel or the voice of God Himself came down and told you "I AM real", you would rationalize it away in your head somehow. You simply hate God and can't let even the most remote possibility of a God exist in your head. God will NEVER exist for you as long as you don't want Him to bad enough to join Christian websites simply to challenge everyone to "prove" God to you and bet they can't. You win, no one could ever Prove God to a mentality like yours. Have a great day and don't let others belief's bother you so bad.

I will never subscribe to some else's shame based theology. There is nothing to be ashamed about with our human bodies. God made them the way that they are and said it was very good.

You can call it trolling if you want Blaine. Whenever I see someone who is trapped in a shame based way of thinking about sex or anything related to the natural functions of the human body I push the boundary. That is all.

Technically if there is no god, then there is no right or wrong. It would just be subjective truth, so everyone would be trying to make the world better for only them.

The is a flaw to this kind of statement. The flaw is it is impossible to prove anything, everything exists because of an assumption.

So without proof you cannot disprove. There are lots of reasons to suggest God exists and that He is interested in us, namely Israel, Jesus and the prophets. The challenge is whether any individual is prepared to investigate in this very subjective and self defined world.

When you listen more to Jesus you realise his point is without changing your subjective world, you will never know the truth. So in your subjective world, that assumes you can prove or disprove things, you believe you can disprove God.

In my world I accept everything is limited, and I am happy to live with pragmatic assumptions and trust. I trust the writers of the bible and their stories and testimony. In this trust my life has changed, life and light has become real, freedom, grace and peace are mine, and for me that is heaven on earth. This is why I trust my Lord and I say God is real, you can find Him to.

You cannot disprove God's existence any more than you could prove He exists, because God is a Spirit and not flesh (John 4). But He can... prove His existence to you, yet I don't see why He would, since you have already chosen to reject Him.

Exactly. If they really believed that this time on earth is all they have, and after this, oblivion. WHY in the world would they waste so much of what little time they have, talking, making videos, and writing about A God they claim doesn't exist?

Would someone do that regarding unicorns, faeries, hobgoblins, etc.?

It truly makes no sense.

Unless.........deep down they know He actually exists, and have an overwhelming desire to suppress that fact by constantly attacking anyone who might try to shatter their delusion.

Indeed. To know God doesn't exist would be to know everything (and been everywhere).

For example; If I were to say I know there is no gold in China, I would have to have looked over every square inch of the country, above and below ground, sifted through every grain of earth, and looked at the teeth of every person there, for my statement to be true.

if we believe the bible. according to romans 1. No there is no such thing as an atheist.

All that you can do is object and disagree.. you can't disprove.. there are many athiests who have heard the truth of the gospel and have believed. If no athiest ever got saved, then you'd possibly have something to disprove.

Such a fictional person that you describe is not the God of the Bible.

Hitler could have, but he didn't. To repent is to turn away from sin. If God were evil then it seems in opposition for Christians to strive to stop sinning.

One may be able to disprove God in their own mind. But in the mind of a believer? i don't think so. Father shows Himself in the life of a believer to much for a believer to be able to honestly deny Him. A believer has remembrance how Father has worked in their lives and recognized it is Father working.

Lee Strobel (former atheist) was a journalist for the Chicago Tribune who set out to disprove Christianity, but ended up becoming a Christian and wrote the famous "Case For" series.. "The Case for Christ, The Case for a Creator, The Case for Faith" etc..

awesome series, He thought his wife would leave him when she became a christian, but she loved him even more.. Her love got him to investigate,, and he found God because of it.
