gaining the support of a roughly 30% fringe and using extortion to demand equal treatment with legitimate candidates is not 'taking the party back to the people'...it is corrupting the nomination process...

1) That is not true, other Candidates have also spoken about this very often.

2) Our Nation HAS BEEN a multi-cultural mess SINCE IT'S FOUNDING............It is specifically because of our Judea Christian values/roots that the First Amendment came into being. Your vision of America is more akin to the KKK than the Original Intent of the Founding Fathers. I'll support them, not the Klan.

3) I have no argument concerning the establishment politicians on both sides.........they (for the most part) aren't worth their salt, and they both have caused great harm to our Nation.

4) I do not think you Trump supporters have given thought PAST the end of your noses........or, your passions. Let us say, for the sake of argument, that Trump wins the nomination, and then wins the General Election, and is sworn in as President.

Do you honestly believe that the Congress will WORK WITH Trump to enact ANY of his stuff? Do you honestly believe Trump will do ANY of the things he pontificates about? How would he go about this WITHOUT the support of Congress AND the Courts?

Look if Trump wins ..He don't have to go to the congress to stop the insanity of Obama ...Obama didn't get any of his stuff approved in congress ..except Obama care and much of that is working by presidential orders. The bill to build and fence has already been passed and funds approved ..the laws we have on the books would take care of much of the illegal immigration ..if they was enforced. The idea that Trump could not do anything is just a lack of knowledge about how things work.

Building that wall WILL REQUIRE financial spending that has to be approved by Congress..........

Rounding up all them illegals will require financial increases for the Law Enforcement personnel to accomplish the task, and for the logistical requirements of housing the ones rounded up prior to their being deported. As well as the cost going through the Deportation process..............

The comments posted here the day after the election are going to be predictable. When / if Hillary wins, the Trump supporters will be blamed. I think that is unfair. I do not care for the Donald, but I understand why he is winning.

Also, Trump himself admits he was part of the establishment.

Chuck Todd discussed something quite interesting this morning on Meet The Press. They polled people, asking them who they would support if the race was narrowed to just these five candidates; Bush, Rubio, Trump, Carson, Cruz. They broke those five candidates into three different groups. Bush and Rubio represented the establishment, Their totals add up to about 30%. Cruz and Carson represent evangelical Christian conservatives. Their support adds up to about 37%. Then there is Trump, who alone gets about 30%. Here is what distinguishes the three different groups. The establishment voters are more educated, with 56% having college degrees. 56% of evangelical voters attend church weekly. Then there are Trump supporters. 64% did not attend college. 61% of Trump supporters don't attend church weekly. Also, 54% of Trump supporters earn under $75,000 a year. Very blue collar. So they are suggesting Trump is attracting a lot of less educated blue collar types who do not believe in God.

If you recall, Jesse Ventura was elected as Governor of Minnesota. He is and was a nutcase, who bought into numerous conspiracy theories. But they loved him and loved the way he stood up to the establishment politicians in Minnesota. Historically, when people reach a point where they no longer have faith in their government, they are more than willing to turn it over to anyone who comes along as an outsider and makes bold statements about how he will magically fix all the problems, without ever going into details about how he will do so. Congress has had something like 10% approval the last several years. The American people may be close to their breaking point. They may disregard common sense and vote for Trump. The Democrats are also fed up to a lesser degree and a large number still support Bernie Sanders. You can't win back the support of people who like Sanders and Trump by calling them idiots or racists. You have to have a message of hope they believe is achievable. If Cruz and Rubio can't sell their message, Trump could go on to win the nomination.
