Tell us about your phone and we'll tell you who you are :D. Yet another social thread for both singles and married ones. Phones are a big part of our lives and how we use them reveals a lot about our personalities :). Having started this thread, I'll start (and for statistics, I'll add a poll):

  1. Android, IOS, or Windows (and/or BB)? IOS
  2. Most used apps: Safari, Spotify, Casts (or pocket Casts) and Audible
  3. Other than calls and sms, what else do you use your phone for? Bible, Devotional, Online Bank, Music, Social Media (Facebook and Instagram), Alarm clock, countdown, Bus and Train waiting times, Map, Reading and studying, browsing the internet, CC, Reminders, Notes/lists, Workout, emails. Needless to say...
  4. Can you last 24 hours without your phone? I can't, well maybe I can, if I had a laptop and internet. But if I'm outdoors, I have to make preparations, like inform my parents so they don't have to worry, bring a backpack and my stuff in it, Singapore Map Lel (I still get lost here after living here for 2 years), my bible, and a to-do-list. Maybe a digicam too, you never know who you'll meet on the road, so must have a cam ready. Now that I think about it, it'd probably be fun to go visit the park without a phone. Hmmm, I might give that a try sometime.
  5. Lastly, screenshot your home screen (if you want):

I have an xperia ion, because it was the only one I could find that didn't look just like all the other phones out there today. Rounded corners are not logical for a handheld communication device.

I use it mostly for music, to make an occasional call or text, or to access information via google. But yeah, mostly for music. Storage space is a primary concern when I get a phone.

The background is from Ubuntu Linux, somewhere back in 2008 I think. A few weeks ago she-who-runs-media at church used it for a background, quite without knowing its origins. It seems they made a popular picture.

Coincidentally... it is called "Ubuntu chocolate." Might be why it's so popular.

A screenshot of my 9 year old phone that I still use.

I've been using Google Voice for at least ten years now.

Free long distance, even to Canada, and unlimited texting.

I still have yet to pay a penny for this service.

I have an Android, Samsun Galaxy Military grade with the water proofing for up to 3 minutes. I can't show my home screens wallpaper is my kids, so I will pass I showing it. I can totally live without my phone for 24 hours, however everyone would get peeved and freak out if I didn't respond. My phone does it all...holds appointments, tracks my periods, I read from it, listen to music from it, have work and personal emails set up on it, track the market, etc.

I have an android
my most used apps are facebook, game of war, stopwatch, calculator, and daily bible.
I use my phone for workouts, keeping track of money that people owe me, leaving witty comments on facebook posts, and looking up useless info on google.
I can last more than 24 hours without my phone, I might feel naked but I can do it. I think.....

My phone was a windows and believe it or not windows phones are kind of cool. Not as many apps but real good and professional ones. Also great layout you can make tiles bigger or smaller. It got washed in the washing machine though. ☺Now I might just have a reason to upgrade.

I have an an Android. The Galaxy S6 Active. Rough on the edges, but still great, not unlike myself. :p I guess my most used apps would be Bleacher Report, Kik, iFunny, Milk Music, and Twitter. I don't really talk or text much tbh, checking sports news and music is my main use for it. Yes, I can last 24 hours without it; I'm really not on it most of the day.

My phone is falling apart (battery and home button are messed up so the phone has to stay plugged in all the time and it takes ten tries to exit an app).

Most used apps...the ones in the screenshot. I dunno. I think lately I've played the two games at the bottom more than anything else, but that will change in another few days and I'll move on to something else. Unless my phone completely dies before then.

Lol this is so cute and fluffy! Wish we could do this with iOS. Changing phone themes is what I find really appealing with Androids. *notices your google folder, how organized!*

Yeah, themes are great :D I've got a Christmas theme at the moment. I can't show it, but the lock screen has animated snow falling. It's pretty cool :)

Yes, we woman need to know when it's coming so to remember we may be a tad more emotional and to breathe before exploding! I tell all my guy friends to down load a period tracker, because this will help them a lot with their wife/gf and it truly has. The week before a period the hormones will make most woman emotional and cranky. If they no its the week before then they treat with kindness, bring flowers to simply say i love you, their life is a lot happier. As not every woman has a period every 28 days this is very useful. It also helps with ovulation cycle if you are trying to get pregnant. It's an awesome app!!!
