I made a statement,

Paul had more of a reason to covet AFTER he was born again, than before. and if this was true, if paul tried to use the law to overcome those temptations he would fail

as I showed in paragraph 6

I backed my statement of belief up with reasons why I believed that way.

You did not even address my statement, you instead, used a basic explanation of what I was saying, to prove I said that is ALL coveting was.

1. Why is it you did not do as you demand others do and answer my points I made
2. Why is it you say I believe coveting is only those things, when I NEVER STATED that those things were the only means of coveting, I used them as examples to prove a point.[/B]
I am not interested in answering your points I know you would never yield or allow for the possibility you could be wrong. It would be a waste of time and effort

The average Joe who sits in a church pew and has never studied theology, just read a couple of chapters of the bible each day knows more truth that matters than you do, or than many do who come onto these websites. That most certainly I the truth
People who are filled with and led by Holy Spirit have a whole lot more than many seminary trained theologians. That's a fact I see in real life almost every day. Praise God!

The law only forbids coveting a neighbor's wife. Can't see how coveting a man's daughter would be illegal.

what if the one coveting the daughter was married himself.

What if the man coveting the daughter who was already betrothed to another man?

I am sure we can come up with other examples of how coveting a daughter is a sin.

You assume, And your assumptions would be wrong

Now. stop demanding people do things for you refuse to do for others.

Because you just proved you do not feel the need to respond to my point, yet I can show posts from you to many different people where you DEMAND they respond to your points EVEN THOUGH THEY ALREADY HAVE!!

That's your problem, your a hypocrite when you do that, and no one will listen to you when you do that, you disqualify yourself.

And again, you do not know me at all. Your assumptions or misled. based on your the one who will never change, and you do not like being confronted with that truth.

It covers anything that belongs to your neighbour. Would Tha cover an 18 year old daughter for example?
Or only a wife and servant
Covet in the OT just means to have longing for. Longing for a neighbors daughter wouldn't be wrong if a man was intent on marrying her. A wife or servant would be off limits, unless someone offered to buy the servant.

If you were fully led of the holy spirit into truth you would not have such evident contradictions in your beliefs, that would not be possible

you keep making the accusation, can you show some proof..

Accusations apart from proof are meaningless.

You wrote:

Absolutely non christians have no power to say no to sin

I replied:

You believe Paul is speaking as a christian in rom 7:14-25

He said in those verses he was sold as a slave to sin. He could not do the good he wanted to do but rather the evil he did not want to do, what he hated to do he did.(in other words paul had no power to say no to sin)

You are all over the place here

You responded:

Every word Paul wrote was as a believer.

Contradiction on your part with no effort to repudiate it.

You stated:

''It is the mark of a christian that addiction to a life of sin I broken?''

I responded:

Yet you believe in rom 7:14-25 Paul is speaking of his christian life

Wisdom is always proved right by its inconsistencies

You responded:
The wisdom of God is right. No inconsistency.

No effort made to repudiate your contradiction

You wrote:
That is a complete untruth. Unbelievers have no power to say no to sin, where Christians have that ability...as did Paul.

You responded

No effort made to repudiate your contradiction

On top of that you refused to address the following:

As a Pharisee you believe Paul obeyed the law to the nth

As a christian you believe Paul could not do the good he wanted to do but rather the evil he did not want to do, what he hated to do he did
You also believe Paul the christian had all manner of concupiscence aroused in him by sin through the law. Sin grew/ got stronger in Paul the christian

According to your beliefs Paul the Pharisee sinned less than Paul the Christian''

As you can see, every time I addressed your points and showed your inconsistencies you failed to address them with your responses
Here you go, shall we go over it bit by bit?

I allow myself to be led by Holy Spirit who lives in me. I am not into contradictions. I am into God's word and His truth.

the same word used for covet in exodus is used for the term sexual desire. It is not just a longing,

I can long for a giid friend, I can long for a good boss. But when I make it a sexual desire, it is far beyond longing for.

Where is the contradiction? She said a non Christian can not say no to sin, She did not mention what a believer can or can not do. nor do we know what she believed about a Christian and sin based on what you posted.. Yet you replied that since she said paul wrote as a Christian she contradicted herself? You made a mountain out of a molehill
