In Singapore, hewas raised a muslim. He is not a fiscal conservative (quadripled the deficit in one year) and he is selling off our nation to foreign nations like China and Japan. Mandatory healthcare is not the solution when it will be rationed out to those who need it more desparately (elderly). I could go on and on but I will stop there.

Are you sure? I don't think Obama ever lived in Singapore.

It would help if you got your facts right.
He was educated, for a short time, in a Christian school in Jakarta, the Capitol of INDONESIA.
A totally seperate country to Singapore.

He has not quadrupiled the deficit in REAL terms at all, you watch too much Glenn Beck. I also note that you didn't provide any workable alternatives to Obama's policy. Or are you just basing your rant on personal dislike?
Mandatory healthcare is an accepted policy in nearly every developed Western nation, and whilst having its faults, it works fine.
Having lived in the US, and all over the world, I can assure you that the US health care system is well below par. Unless, of course, you have the money for insurance.
Isn't it a basic Christian principle to look after the needy in our society?
 
Obma is a faithful guy, hes smart, plus people like him, even if some people dont like him, hes here for four years, so what if hes colored hes our president. Let the change begin!
 
I voted for Obama. He may have his flaws, but he's a heck of a lot better than McCain! McCain's defense of torture and preemptive wear was enough to turn me off!

Correct. If the church would help the poor like they are supposed to, there would be no need for ANY government social program!

Although I am vehemently opposed to socialized health-care, I see no other alternative. Health-care is simply to expensive for most of our citizens to afford. Somebody has to ensure our citizens get medical treatment.

oh john,. i would LOVE healthcare....really. it would be nice to goto the dentist.....Obama never lived in singapore nor was he a muslim....lies.
 
If Obama is a Muslim, he's a very, very bad Muslim. Nobody's seen him observing salat, as far as I know, and I think we'd know. That'd be a huge story.

Are you saying it is a churches responsiblility to provided health care to everyone in its congregation? Wouldn't that get rather expensive, especially for the very small churches? Should all the religions in the world get together and create one unified health care system based on universal religious indoctrination?

I guess the real question is who has the right to premptively attack others? China? Russia? Germany? Perhaps the Muslims?

Once you open that door it can't be closed again. As soon as someone decides they want something they'll use that excuse. What if britain decided they want their empire back? Or Russia? Or spain? Or France?

I agree with your statatement about the church should be helpin the poor but a problem with that has arised...abuse of christian kindness , my church was one of the most giving churches id ever heard of untill recently when we had been taken advantage of one too many times. we still help people but not like we used to...anyway just thinkin out loud :) but then again there is abuse of the government programs as well, just people takin advantage of others,age old problem i spose
 
If you say preemptive attack is biblical then England, Spain, Mexico and France would be perfectly justified in attacking the United states without warning or cause because the US is nothing more than a rebel state since 1776. They purchased land from the French which wasn't Frances to sell and took land from the Spanish when they were down. They fought a war with mexico to take Texas which wasn't theirs to take and stole half of the western US from mexico as a result of that war. And Lets not get into the land stolen from the native american's when the US government decided to unilateraly tear up the agreement made with the indians not to settle beyond the ohio river. The only part of the US that was legally and legitamently gained was washington, oregon and a couple other northern states as part of a territory exchange agreement with Britian.
 
Israel's 6 day war was preemptive

and it was justified

it is good strategy
