Sometimes we cozy up closer to our pet grace doctrines than we do to our Lord Himself.
This can lead to clotting of the arteries

What is grace if you don't have Jesus? Jesus brought us the gospel of grace and truth. It's all about Jesus., we can't have grace without Christ.

Well if the moral law was placed on your heart(2 cor3:3) so you in your heart wanted to obey it, and because you did you had a righteousness apart from the whole law, wouldn't that cover no legalism and at the same time you care about the moral law/you cant view it that it doesn't have obligation
We just need to define terms more precisely.

Can we define moral law?

If you define it as 2 Corinthians 3 then I completely agree. And if you look at the fruit of the Spirit it becomes even clearer.

But if you try to define it by a carnal understanding of what people think the OT 10 commandments say, then I will have to disagree that that is not what is written on my heart.

I think Jesus said it the best.

The law of love, Love God, and Love your neighbor, in these are fulfilled all the law and prophets..

The funny thing about "antinomian"..is that the legalists are the ones that came up with that term. So, basically legalists make up a term as defining their beliefs then attack anyone that is against their religious beliefs..then they are labeled "antinomian"..it is actually a great set-up...lol

Paul was "antinomian" in many of the modern Jews time....just sayin'...:)

Oh...

Well I guess I'm not antinomian either.

This is starting to get confusing.

I know!! And when you try to explain "no wait, hold it, stop I didn't say that wait, hold it no, yikes, no way I didn't say that, i don't believe that!!" it doesn't matter because you have already been labeled antinomian and even if people don't know you they will remember someone labeled you and you are just going to have to dig your heels in and take time to make yourself clear in the different things you say over and over. Then people say. "oh., I always thought you were antinomian.,I didn't know antinomians thought the way you do"
and you calmly say., they don't because I'm not antinomian....

Then if you're on CC you use that picture with the statue of the guy with his hand over his head lol.

As a Senor in High school, I had a math teach who kept getting my last name wrong, After the first month, I stopped correcting him,

At the end of the year, Someone came to class to ask for me (I had to go to an appointment or something, He called me by my right name, the teacher corrected him I had to correct the teacher again, He said, but why did you not tell me.. I said I did for a month, I finally gave up. The whole class laughed.. because they knew it was true..

Not really. Antinomian is little different than anomia, the word that Paul used for lawlessness.

This is why the grace of Christ is so important to the believer..He has fulfilled all the law for us!.....and it's His love in us that causes us to love to others....it's a great salvation we have in Him..It is finished in Him!

Truly a Law we can't fulfill.
Nope. Because no matter how hard we try we can not love Like God loves 24/7 it is impossible..

Anyone who thinks it is, Does not know God.

It's also why we are still sinners. Anything short of perfection cannot be in the presence of a perfect God. It's why we need To accept Christ who advocates for us with the Father.

I sometimes wonder if I can love others more than I already do...
it's a matter of heartbreak and grief and sometimes I question myself if my love is
as pure as my Lord has given me....and can I do something more to let them know
just what they truly mean to me....how much I honor them and understand their precious
hearts, needs, hurts and what they require to feel that special love that our Father
has shared with us....

oh Father, refine me daily, so that I may touch just a single heart......

the balance that I seek makes me seek His Love all the more, for what difference can I make
without His eternal Love which He has so lovingly shared???
