Wait a minute are you saying that Jesus is not God come in the flesh, or are you just saying churches don't teach that ???
Because scripture in God's word says He is, and it is required for salvation, as John says anybody who does not confess this is not of God !!!

Over half the people who go to trinitarian church es s in the UK solely believe Christ is the son of God. And over 90% of them will accept anyone as a christian who solely believes Christ to be the son of God.

How many ministers do you actually know who will stand in the pulpit and state it I not enough to simply believe Christ I the son of God to be saved, you must believe he I God himself
Personally if I gad your view I would state unequivocally nearly all the trinitarian ministers should be thrown out of the pulpit for they refuse to preach the required salvational belief according to what you believe
But then I have heartfelt conviction of my faith, I am not driven to have part time beliefs on the intetnet
Well I don't know what churches you have been to, but every one that I have set foot in has said these truths.
That Jesus came in the flesh, died on the cross for our sins, and rose on the third day. That is the basis of our belief in Him that we then build on in the faith.
Without believing in those 3 points one does not truly believe in Jesus Christ, and has no foundation to build off of so anything from there would just lead to more and more deception. Which is why we have teachings now days that says we don't have to follow what Jesus taught !!!
Believe defined by the Lord Jesus Himself comes from Luke 6:46-49, and there He shows it is a three part process:
1) Come to Him
2) Hear what He says
3) Do what He says
True faith in Christ has and follows those steps, and in those steps the hearing is what the Word of God says. In the Word of God says we must believe He came in the flesh, died on the cross for our sins, and rose on the 3rd day !!!
I will end by saying again I don't know what churches you have gone to, but every one I have gone to including Catholic has stated this about having faith in Jesus.

Again, it's the 'works' that are not done in Christ (wood hay stubble) that are burned. 1 Cor.3:12-15
....If any man's work is burned up, he shall suffer loss; but he himself shall be saved, yet so by fire.
How hard is it to understand that passage from the Lord, it is very straight forward in what it says. Only by corrupting and defiling His word would a person come away with another understanding.
You need to read 1 Cor.3:10-15 and get the proper understanding of works and loss of rewards.
Jesus, Paul, Peter, James, and John taught a works based faith as well !!!
They did not teach it in a way to where it earns salvation as you and others try to spin it, they taught those works we do as proof that we are saved and living for Christ !!!

No one is trying to 'spin' the Bible. It's right here for us all to read. And not only here but in other places. Since we got our salvation by Jesus alone., we cannot lose or misplace it. I have read 1 Corinthians 3 and have studied it as well, and the context there is not excusing deliberate sinful behavior to continue in our lives.
If that is what you have taken from it then you are wrong as we need to notice that chapter has two parts.
1) Verses 10-15 is about the faithfulness of the believer
Meaning it is speaking on how firmly they stood in Christ and lived out doing His will.....
2) Verses 16-20 is about being disobedient
It says our body is the temple of God and if anybody defiles that temple God will destroy them.....
We were bought with for a price and that life was Christ Himself dying on the cross, and if we defile what He did for us by continuing to be deliberately sinful then eternal life is not the destination do to would be trampling the Son of God underfoot.
