YES!!!!..that verse in 1 John 2:1-2 is stating that Jesus is standing as our lawyer....standing in our place for us!..He is the One taking our place and His blood has washed our sins away...that is a wonderful verse..I absolutely love it!!
Jesus stands as us before the Father......can't you see it?.....He is our righteousness....our holiness....our redemption
In Him...we have redemption..the forgiveness of sins....it's in Him.
