We are light in the Lord now...we do not go in and out of light..nor do we go in and out of Christ....nor do we go from being sheep to goats and back again....your reasoning is faulty
You can not abide in His righteousness and serve sin both !!!

Walking in the Light or Walking in the Spirit can not lead a person to sin, that sin comes from giving into the flesh and thus is darkness. Light and Darkness has no fellowship with one another !!!!

Saying we still sin while walking in the Light is the faulty reasoning, as that would be saying the Holy Spirit or Christ caused you to sin !!!

A believer can not sin while walking in the Light / abiding in Christ !!!

It's that simple people.........But we do still sin which means that sin has to come from some where else, because Christ can not deny Himself. His ways do not lead to transgression, and all sin is transgression.
After we are reborn we are a member,a member of the body and the body Is of CHRIST and GOD Is light and we are In the body then the blood continuously cleanes us.

walk in darkness and walk in light are designations of identities..ie..unbeliever/unrighteous believer/righteous

We can choose to follow the flesh or the Spirit but that does not change our identity....our state of "being"..

We walk uprightly when we walk according to the spirit. Walking according to the carnal mind does not produce the same results.
Don't worry HeRoseFromTheDead the Pharisees of Jesus time went after Him for the works He did to, so it is no new thing to still be attacked or ridiculed for doing God's will/works today....

That would be false teaching because if a person returns to walking in darkness then they are no longer abiding in Christ !!!

After we are reborn we are a member,a member of the body and the body Is of CHRIST and GOD Is light and we are In the body then the blood continuously cleanes us.
If that was enough to keep us from sinning, then we would never sin. But we do sin because we are drawn aside (away from the light) by our own longings that then conceive and bring forth sin. The longings of the flesh are of the world, i.e., darkness. So we a drawn into darkness to sin.

Only if you continue in the faith of Jesus Christ, as Apostle Paul shows this clearly in Colossians 1:22-23.

The grace-hating or grace-fearing spirit will always attack personally the person that is preaching the pure grace of Christ. It is the nature of the beast.

Paul even talks about how those that live from the works of self-effort and the flesh will attack those that are living and preaching from the promise....the Spirit of grace.

Galatians 4:28-29 (NASB)
[SUP]28 [/SUP] And you brethren, like Isaac, are children of promise.
[SUP]29 [/SUP] But as at that time he who was born according to the flesh persecuted him who was born according to the Spirit, so it is now also.

But what does it mean to abide or remain in Him? That sounds as if Jesus is putting conditions on us. It sounds like He is saying, you have to do something otherwise you’ll be tossed and burned.

But what is the something we must do? I guarantee you that any list of somethings that man comes up with will include keep short accounts with God or confess your sins.

This is a classic example of watering down scripture to accommodate human shortcomings. You want something to do? Try this:

“Whoever abides in Him does not sin.” (1 Jn 3:6, NKJV)

What does God expect of those who abide in Him? Zero sin! Yet many people believe, “whoever abides in Him may sin occasionally – after all, we’re only human – but as long as we quickly confess our sin God will be faithful and just and forgive us our sin.” Well God is faithful and just but you can’t use His goodness to wriggle out of 1 John 3:6. You can’t lower His standards to accommodate your less-than-perfect performance.

Click on the link below and you will see what it means to "abide in Christ "..it's not what we were religiously taught..

No a believer can sin but that sin is not done in the Light, or while abiding in Christ.

We then must restore that unity
What communion does light have with darkness?

I don't believe In saved,lost,saved,lost,born again again.

If we are not "abiding in Christ"..we are not Christians..."abiding in Christ is a state of being in Him"...again you are mixing up our identity and our behavior

That just shows a real lack of understanding about our nature. We are children of GOD. That doesn't change if we walk in darkness by following the flesh.

Well sorry you don't believe in that but Jesus gave two teachings of one who was saved and then got lost, and then had to repent to come back.

The parable of the lost sheep and the prodigal son both teach this...........

Being a sheep is indicative of being saved in Christ, and when the sheep got lost because of went after sinful ways Jesus clearly said when He went after the sheep it had to repent to be brought back into the flock.

The prodigal son says he was alive when he was with the Father, but was dead when he left, and that he was not alive again tell he returned to the Father.

The context in this passage of the prodigal son in the Greek is speaking on eternal life and eternal death.

Sheep can get lost !!!

They must repent and be restored to Christ to be back in the flock...........

That's not really true. Scripture says that all of those who have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. They are in Christ, and therefore Christians. If they don't abide in Christ (walk in the light) they will dry up, be broken off and burned.

The sheep repented by letting Jesus carry him on His shoulders..and He carried the sheep all the way back..they sheep "let" Jesus do it all as He brought the sheep back .

The sheep "rested" in Jesus as was brought back...Jesus came and sought the sheep and brought it back...same as for Phil..
Philippians 1:6 (KJV)
[SUP]6 [/SUP] Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:

The fact that he was called "lost"..means ownership..If I lose my car..it is lost..but it is still my car..I still have ownership of it..

But grace does not teach us to walk In darkness.
That's right grace does not teach us to walk in darkness, it teaches us to walk in His righteousness which includes His teachings and commands.

The Holy Spirit is our helper to strengthen us to walk in His ways, but that is what He is a helper not a controller.

We are not puppets that automatically just start walking in His ways because He controls everything we do, we still have choice which is where chastising from the Lord comes in.

Whenever we sin it is because we got drawn away from Him to obey our flesh, He then chastises us to correct us and restore us to walking His path !!!

If you are not chastised when you sin or ignore His chastising then the Word of God says you are not His !!!

That is not true as "abiding in Christ" is an ongoing action not just a state of being !!!

Abiding in Christ means you abide in observing and following what He taught and commanded, and thus His fruit will be produced in us in other words we do what He said.

Those who don't abide will be cut off, gathered, and thrown into the fire to be burned up !!!
