* Coffee and Tea dehydrates you more than it hydrates.
* Do not drink at meal time. (it is a bit hard too at work) ½ hour before meals 1½ hours after meal
* Do not eat between meal, have chilled water instead to reduce hunger pains.
* Do not eat Fruit & Vegetables at the same meal.
* Do not microwave food in plastic.
* Eating lots of Fruit &/or Vegetables keeps you blood pressure down.
* I found the best time to weigh yourself is first thing in the morning as soon as you get out of bed.
* If you are a vegetarian you have to take a replacement vitamin supplement. (B12)
* If it taste really good, it is most likely bad for you, it could be loaded with either fat, sugar, salt.
* If you are eating three meals a day, you should be having three “dumps” a day or you are constipated.
* If you have cancer or cancer runs in the family, get as much sugar as you can out of your diet.
* Just because it comes from the Herbs food family does not mean it is safe to eat.
* Keep your urine are clear as possible, as it goes more yellow – you are not drinking enough water.
* Keep drinking lots of water during winter to help reduce influenza, but you go to the toilet a lot.
* You need a daily amount of salt, do not overdose, your blood pressure will go up.
* You need to eat fibre, fat & protein everyday. (but not too much fat)
* With (leg) cramp keep away from salt, drink more water or take Magnesium tablets.
* Zinc helps the immune system but do not overdose it goes toxic. (selenium also goes toxic in overdose amounts)

I might add that you really should drink, at a minimum, 50% of your body weight in ounces of water.

example: If you weigh 180 pounds, you should be drinking no less than 90 oz. of water per day. (6 large glasses a day)

Urine is SUPPOSED to be yellow. Though if it's dark yellow or brownish, then you're not eating OR drinking adequately.. And why take a dozen different supplements when ONE good multi-vite is enough? Herbal tea is actually GOOD for you and does NOT dehydrate you if drunk in moderation. You do NOT need to eat fiber, fat or protein EVERY day. Chilled water does NOT reduce hunger pains, it just makes you have to pee more..lol

I agree that it should be yellow. BUT, it should be a very very light yellow. Our urine should almost be clear with a pigment of yellow. The color of our urine is an indication of proper hydration and others things.

Should we talk about pooping s's? lol
That is an indication of proper nutrients

Yeah, but for the poop to be green from having eaten stuff with dye in it, you would have to eat gallons and gallons of it. Face it post, you like talking about poop as much as we do.. :p lol jk

You people totally blow me away, one thing for sure I will never expose any medical condition I might get and tell you on this website thinking maybe someone has a better cure that will fix things “God's” way.

I was hospitalized a few years ago I was reluctant to eat or drink anything because my doctor told me “Do not to eat or drink anything” as I was going to have a blood test as soon as I was admitted to the hospital, After the blood test the surgeon said something like “There is nothing to worry about but dont you like drinking water?” I said “normally I do but I was reluctant to drink water in case it upset the blood test, normally my urine is almost clear” it was then the surgeon (female) said that the color should normally be a 'chardonnay' color, which I told her that I agreed with her comments.

Of course first thing in the morning the color is yellow I strongly suspect it is because I have trouble sleep walking to have a glass of water when I should be asleep. Then many years ago I was reluctant to drink water if I had a runny nose thinking why drink anything if it is going to come straight out of my nose, my runny nose will go on and on all day, now I am older and have come to my senses, if I get runny nose I keep drinking a cup of water every 15 – 20 minutes, my runny nose will clear up in 90 minutes or so.

Now some of those tips that started this thread was note made from a TV program broadcasted on a religious station in New Zealand that came from a 'qualified naturopath' & nutritionist and who is very passionate about good health & natural healing. Some of the comments made on this webpage I can only come to the conclusion some of you people are not so dedicated or qualified, and I wish I could afford to attend her "health retreat" see runs.

Some other comments most likely came from a series broadcasted on the same NZ station made by the 3 Angles network, All the people been interviewed by a qualified medical nurse interviewing medical doctors

Weighing myself first thing in the morning came from me, some years ago I made a spreadsheet and recorded my weight all through the day apart from the hours I was at work, the most reliable readings came first thing in the morning, NOT after I been to the toilet, NOT after I had a shower, NOT after I had breakfast.

What more can I say? I sure have “missed the bus” (Mr. Bus) by becoming a member of this website.

Then your doctor isn't very smart about what color urine is supposed to be. And chardonnay has a goldish color. Urine is NOT supposed to be gold in color. It's supposed to have a light yellow tinge.. And much of the advice given here was given by medical professionals who DO know what color urine is supposed to be.

Actually it is the texture that indicates too much fat and not enough fiber. If it isnt as I stated it comes out in blobs and it has a high fat content. It also floats! Hahahaha
I cant believe Im talking about this:p

In the OP the tip about sugar and Cancer is a little off. It is the correct thing to do if you are not on chemo, but if you are, the sugar will help the Cancer cells take in the chemo. Cancer cells are glucose hogs and the chemo goes in with the glucose.

"~* Do not microwave food in plastic"
Don't eat any microwaved foods ever.

"* If you are a vegetarian you have to take a replacement vitamin supplement. (B12)"
Take the methyl-cobalamin form of B-12, avoid the cyan form of B-12

"* You need a daily amount of salt, do not overdose, your blood pressure will go up."
Use only Himalayan salt, it is the only salt that actually hydrates, and has over 81 or 82 trace minerals.
Sea salt is not much better then regular table salt

"* With (leg) cramp keep away from salt, drink more water or take Magnesium tablets."
Try also a potassium supplement.

There is a chemo treatment that laces, or fuses the chemo with a form of sugar, I think it is glucose, to target the cancer cells more directly.
With cancer, generally one should limit sugar and protein intake. Protein helps grow body mass, but it also helps grow tumor mass.
If I had cancer, I personally would not ingest any animal products (they have a ton of protein- not to mention, anti-biotics, hormones, and steroids.)

I have had classes in nutrition during two of my educations, never did anyone tell us not to drink at meal time
UNLESS you need to GAIN weight, in which case it does make sense, as fluid "fills" you and you have less room for food.
