Thanks everyone. I cannot get into it right now and not sure if I would feel comfortable. But, today was very long and very draining and there's going to be lots of waiting now for the next two weeks.

Please continue praying for strength.

I appreciate everything I've received from you guys. Those are emails on here, Skype messages, text messages, and responses to this. I will probably update soon when things are more settle :)

I love you all <3 You are all so special to me!

Hey Shineyourlight.

My name's Arlene.

A couple of years back when I was a baby new Christian, I packed all of my belongings in to my car, parked my car beside the beach front and cried my eyes out. I was homeless and had no where to go and barely had an income.

I remember amongst all the mess and the unknown, I lifted my eyes and with unshakable trust I thanked God for my break through and His providence before I even saw it. I thanked Him and thanked Him and told Him I trusted Him and loved Him. I was beginning to propel in to this season where God wanted to reveal Himself to me as the Father that provides, the Father that comes and answers to the needs of His children and the One who will always remain faithful.

I went on an adventure for a week before I settled with a roof over my head and a fulltime job within a couple of days. Now days, when struggles arise and things seem chaotic, I remind myself to look up, and ask my faithful God what is He revealing about Himself in this season, what am I going to learn about Him today? He's always waiting for us to seek Him in every situation and to be intimately involved whether through thick or thin. HE. IS. FAITHFUL.

Praying for you, beautiful sis. I'm so proud that you're pressing in to His heart in all of this and I'm sure He is too.

Lol all the girls fawn over Aragorn, Legolas, and Frodo

Remember though Aragorn will cost you your immortality fair elven maidens. Legolas got no time for romance, him and Gimli gots adventures to go on. Poor little emo Frodo would have died easily without Sam.

Sure Sam ain't one of the pretty boys, but remember Sam the bravest, most loyal, sees through Gollum's façade, epicly messes up Shelob the spider monster daughter of Ungoliant whom even Sauron and Melkor feared, gets the girl, stays with her til her death, and gets to sail to the undying lands in the end. Also, Sam the only one to both bear the Ring and resist its evil temptation.

Le sigh, good guys always finish last.

Samwise is and always has been my favourite of the LotR characters. He's the true hero of the story.

Lol, Sam will never get past the friend zone. His speech, though, (Two Towers) is my favorite LOTR scene.

My favourite scene is probably the one where Samwise says something along the lines of, "I can't carry the ring for you, but I can carry you" (RotK). It never fails to bring tears to my eyes. This reminds me, I really need to do a LotR rewatch, and soon.

So my spam emails are getting a bit weird as of late....

"Bathe in safety and comfort with a walk-in tub"

I do like the idea of walking around in a bathtub though.

Not sure if I should respond to this one.

I like Faramir (note: The movie portrays him wrong!)
and Aragorn, but I prefer him as Strider

Nuh uh, Sam marries his sweetheart Rosie Cotton on May 1, 3020 of the Third Age, has a bunch of kids, is elected Mayor of the Shire 7 times, lives in Middle Earth to a ripe old age, gets to journey to Aman become immortal, and lives happily ever after.

The End

Lol so you must be Eowyn then since you like Aragorn and Faramir. Lol funny LOTR nerd note. Faramir marries Eowyn and becomes Steward of Gondor. Pippin names one of his sons Faramir whom marries one of Sam's daughters. Faramir son of Denethor and Sam are actually the same age.

Faramir was one of my favorites too. The movies were amazing but they didn't do him justice. He was a great and honorable man.

They are... trying to tell you that you are getting old? I don't get it.

But I am reminded of an Arlo & Janis cartoon. Ludwig the cat stands on the floor, looking up at the bed as though he would like to be up there, but can't quite make the jump. Arlo walks off and comes back with a stepstool for him. Ludwig looks a bit miffed but Arlo just shrugs and says, "Gotta face it, you've reached that time."

I'm also reminded of when I was looking up SuperOS (Ubuntu Linux, with everything added - java, flash, wine, basically Ubuntu-and-the-kitchen-sink) and I kept getting ads for electronic cigarettes. So... we're saying Linux nerds are all smokers? What's the connection here?

Lord of the rings gets me emotional. lol

I woke up and had like three cheese and miracle whip sandwiches.
THEY ARE AMAZING.

At my old job someone used to eat these all the time and I never understood it, but with miracle whip I now understand.
