Hello wonderful people of planet CC. So, I've been planning on changing my exercise routine. I don't really workout as much as I should (need cardio for breath support lol) but I bike usually from half to an hour, 2-3 times a week. I've been having back problems though lol and I think that has something to do with my lack of upper body exercise. So, I was gonna start running this week and see if that fits me better. Pun intended. Lol.

So, here's for you! Do you exercise too? What's your routine?
I CAN TOTALLY HELP YOU :D

I do all types of workouts :)
Upper, lower, cardio.

Take it easy out the gate some walking then build up to running. If you have back issues with riding a bike running could make it worse, running has more of a impact on the back then riding.
Thank you! Yes, that's what I'm gonna do today. Yeah I think that should make my back stronger lol.

Wow. How do you even do that?! Lol, that's amazing. I happen to have a desk job and work 12hr shifts. Sometimes I forget to stand, and I don't think that's healthy. I heard Zumba is good but I've always thought the dance steps were kinda hard to follow lol.
Well I am that person you will see dancing in their car, in the aisles, etc. I also do the isometric toning in line. As to sitting at work, I sit for an hour commute to work so I couldn't sit 10 hours, I measured my desk and proper height for use compared to my height, built a platform from wood, stained it to match and then had the desk placed on top. I am so much happier!!! While on the phone I will dance, do squats against the wall, ankle weights to lift legs, etc. ANYTHING to keep me moving. As to the Treadclimber I get up at 4am to accomplish that. Zumba I do alone and my youngest joins in. I have it on my XBOX. Great cardio and you certainly do not have to be perfect, its the point of moving!

Exercise? *runs away screaming*

Only way to get me to do that is ask me to join you for a walk, or climb a mountain,
or maybe if you let me "fight" you with a sword

if not, I'll just sit her and watch y'all :p

The hardest part is starting.

The 2nd hardest part is setting a goal.

If you can do those 2 things then you just keep your eyes on your goal and stay disciplined.

Yesterday was deadlift day. How much did you deadlift? Don't tell me you didn't even know yesterday was deadlift day...

Monday is squat day so get prepared. Its probably the hardest day of the week.

I agree. You have to get to the point where it becomes a habit. They say that if you do something for 21 days then it forms a habit. I enjoy the 2 hours that I spend in the gym. It is "my time" and I make it a point to isolate myself from all kinds of negativity.

Now, if you're talking about leg day, that's a different story altogether.....

I'm always too tired to exercise after work. I'm about to retire, though, so I was looking at taking a thirty-minute walk, Mondays-Saturdays.
