While his crimes are heinous, we should keep in mind that Jesus came for the ungodly.

Father, we pray that you will use Bills poor choices and failures to lead him to the cross of Christ, in Jesus name

amen

Agreed. It's so so easy to point out other peoples failures/sins. But to point out our own? That's just to hard for some people to do.
No I want him convicted under our legal system ...im not promoting he don't get a trial ..but before the Lord ...I think we all have to admit what is obvious . The guy is a monster and at this point its not even debatable .....I don't care even if they cant convict him in court EVERY THINKING person knows what he is.

Wow, you have a lot to learn Mitspa. Just because you have a mouth to talk, doesn't mean you should always be talking.

Bill Cosby might have done these things, but to God, a sin is a sin is a sin. He doesn't weigh up sins by degree of severity. And who are we to dwell on other peoples sins when we should be simply giving thanks to Jesus for the forgiveness He gives for our own?

You remind me of that mean man who was forgiven a big debt but yet went out and saw someone who owed him very little and threatened his life unless he paid up. Do you know that one? Parable of the Unforgiving Servant

Matt 18:23-35 Therefore the Kingdom of Heaven is like a certain king, who wanted to reconcile accounts with his servants. When he had begun to reconcile, one was brought to him who owed him ten thousand talents. But because he couldn’t pay, his lord commanded him to be sold, with his wife, his children, and all that he had, and payment to be made. The servant therefore fell down and kneeled before him, saying, ‘Lord, have patience with me, and I will repay you all!’ The lord of that servant, being moved with compassion, released him, and forgave him the debt. "But that servant went out, and found one of his fellow servants, who owed him one hundred denarii, and he grabbed him, and took him by the throat, saying, ‘Pay me what you owe!’ "So his fellow servant fell down at his feet and begged him, saying, ‘Have patience with me, and I will repay you!’ He would not, but went and cast him into prison, until he should pay back that which was due. So when his fellow servants saw what was done, they were exceedingly sorry, and came and told to their lord all that was done. Then his lord called him in, and said to him, ‘You wicked servant! I forgave you all that debt, because you begged me. Shouldn’t you also have had mercy on your fellow servant, even as I had mercy on you?’ His lord was angry, and delivered him to the tormentors, until he should pay all that was due to him. So my heavenly Father will also do to you, if you don’t each forgive your brother from your hearts for his misdeeds."

Wanting to bring people to justice over their crimes is nothing wrong with that. But we must not think like the world that wants to stone people, we must think like Jesus would think. It doesn't sound like you are thinking like how Jesus would think to me.

If he is guilty, or not. If he is found not guilty, but is. He will face the same judgement for his sins the same as you or I will and no less unless he has accepted Christ for his sins then Christ will be his Saviour on that day and be set free from his sins the same as you or I will.

What should we do then? Crucify him immediately or incarcerate him? Or should we, knowing that God loves him just as much as all of us, pray for him and that he gets a fair trial like anyone else? That includes serial murderers, rapists and the like. Yes its controversial to say that, and yes its a hard pill to swallow. But that is what makes us Christian. Right?

Actually, when it comes to crimes against children, well it would be better for those sort of people to have a millstone put around their neck and flung into the sea for they will wish they was never born and rightfully so too.

Just remember that God said revenge is His. God will get His revenge much better than any of us ever could.

This should be answered with simply, "You're right." But do you honestly think it will be? I suspect you can expect little more than excuses and "justifications."

It don't matter if he wins or loses this case ...the clear and evident truth at this point is that this man is a rapist ... this is Mitspa's court ...where folks don't get to hide behind lawyers and legalities. The man is monster and every honest person knows it now.

Slight correction, Mitspa. This is GOD'S court, not yours. He says vengeance is his. He did NOT say vengeance is Mitspa's..lol.. Cosby will get what's coming to him, both in this life and when he dies. I agree that he's a bad person for what he's done to all those women, and SHOULD be rotting in jail for it. But for you to become a one-man judge, jury and executioner is wrong. God is the ultimate judge of Bill Cosby, and you aren't.. All you and I and anyone else can do is be the voice of righteous indignation at the crimes of this man. We CANNOT play judge and jury..

The Grand Jury refused to indict. Thank God, literally, that we are judged in the court of law and not in the court of public opinion, because no one would walk out of that courtroom.

As a saint I will judge the world...and as a citizen its very much my right and responsibility to promote the correct biblical use of our justice system and the safety of our society from monsters like cosby ... Yes I judge in righteousness and no one can judge me but God.

Over 50 women tell the same story... and you thank God?

Wow.

Your last sentence is correct.

Well, if the pope's brother can do it...
He is not accused of abusing anyone. If you are going to accuse a man of a crime, make sure its the one he committed. Not just floundering accusations that serve no purpose but to incite.

Yes, I thank God that courts are based on evidence. Because it seems you want to return to the days of the ordeal, or go on Witch Hunts a la Salem. The Grand Jury decided, those 50 women can still seek to discredit the man, and have right to do so under civil law. Also, most likely they are already reworking the case to go before another Grand Jury, with more solid evidence than the court of public appeal.

Yes I want a justice system where folks with money cant buy there way out of justice and continue to rape women.

Where is your evidence that the Grand Jury was bought? Or the Prosecutor who put his career on the line to go after Bill Cosby? You don't have any. You're just claiming things and not even backing them up. Again, a witch hunt, ready to burn men in effigy.

He is being investigated. It would be a shocker since there has never been proven sexual abuse in the RC church:p:eek:

Guy I didn't say the grand jury was bought ...I said cosby has money and our justice system should not allow folks like him to get off just because he can use his money and power to rape more women.
