I talk out loud to myself all the time. I talk to the cat, and every day we have a verbal discussion to see who gets the last word (or meow) in.. usually the cat wins, because sometimes I'll be in a different room, and she'll start talking (meowing) to herself. My cat is demented..

The last time I told myself off, I was a bit harsh and had to remind myself that I was under grace.

I said yes - do it all the time... I wanted to say I hear voices.....because every time someone talks to me I most times hear them....lol Those are voices right? Oh and my selective hearing determines if I answer back or not. You didn't specify hearing voices in your head telling you to do things...

Yes. Given that I sometimes long for intelligent conversation.........I don't have much choice BUT to talk to myself.
At least we always agree with ourselves right?

Big Dumb (he's a saint bernard) argues with me all the time. And he lies too.

He tells me he hasn't eaten. And I ask him if he's sure or if he's lying again. He always promises that he's not lying. But sometimes he is.

I tell Big Dumb to shut up but he says no. Then I say yes. But he says no again. I tell him he's a pita just like my wife and he responds with a whole bunch of stuff but I'm not sure what it is. Probably not good.

All of the time.

Me: *catches myself being judgmental or being stupid.*
Me: "I did not raise you this way."

Just kidding. No, I don't talk to myself. At least not out loud.

I sat me down and had a talk about myself. I noticed that I was paying more attention to me than I was to myself. I told me that there had to be some changes, and I would have to pay less attention to me, and more attention to myself. I can't say myself that me was happy about this, but I knew that I needed more time with myself and less time with me if I was to be as happy with myself as I was with me.

I talk to myself all the time. Often, it is the only way I can have an intelligent conversation with someone I respect.

Everybody talks to themselves..it's a way to 'get out of the box" and step back a little to observe the situation. The real question should be: Do we answer our own voices? Therein would lie a deep seated problem!!!!!

All the time, if there's so one around. And I do not merely talk to myself.

I frequently argue, loudly, with myself.
I explain things to myself, but I never listen to reason.
I mutter in agreement with myself.
I laugh at my own jokes.
Sometimes I slap myself on the back.
Sometimes I slap myself upside the head.
And sometimes I just verbalize the weird whatnots currently running through my head.
I had to think this through.... Cause I in fact... Do the same thing too. It's weird, and I call myself crazy... Cause I am lol... Not mentally crazy.. Just weird off the wall, funny... Strange kind of... Crazy

Yes…. all of the time. I sing while I'm shopping and I also talk to my dog while we are running. However, I don't think that counts because he is very intelligent and I'm pretty sure that he understands what I'm saying.

I use to talk to myself all the time, but now I do it less as most of the time I am conversing with the Holy Spirit about God's word !!!

King David did, Hope in God my soul, he said. It is one way to take charge over the body or soul and learn to live trough the spirit. Words have power, God spoke things into being as everything is made from sound and light waves according to scientists in this world and the righteousness that is off faith Speaks the Bible says. Confession is one way to help you believing the Word of God.
