Thanks for all of your prayers. Unfortunately, I lost my job today. They are keeping me for the next few months to work and to get my paychecks.

My heart is extremely heavy.

shiney, you know the prayers I've sent your way at various times. You may have also noticed I didn't say anything publicly about this latest request. Not that I didn't pray or don't care...you know I do, it's just that this situation had me thinking 'not my will, but THINE be done', and I really couldn't get a sense which way His will was going to move, nor what your heart was wanting, deep down. But now that you know, and blueorchid is right, our Father has so much bigger and better for you in store, and I hope you can rest in His sovereign love for you and be excited about the new things ahead, even tho there may be struggles...change is tough sometimes, but He promised to never leave you or forsake you. Jesus won't let you down, just continue to trust in Him.
You've got a friend. :) sydlit.

Meh. Jobs.....(metaphorically sticking my finger down my throat). It's not the job; it's the work, I think, where we bring pleasure to God. It's the labor that brings us profit in body and spirit, not the paycheck. The money's just a gauge, really and the boss is always temporary. It's the work that's the focus, the definition of it and the expertise of it, not the people taking advantage of it.

I can think of that story of Walt Disney being fired from a newspaper job because he wasn't creative enough. Walt Disney. Not creative. Then there's JK Rowling who lost her job as an admin because she was too big a day dreamer. About wizards, no doubt.

So jobs........ meh (shrugging my shoulders, only it was just now i did that so by the time you read this it'll be over, so it's immaterial).

I usually use Oroweat Oatnut bread, but.. I bought this Sara Lee Artesano bread. It's so fluffy. Fluffy goodness that I am going to make a PB & B sandwich with.

What sins are hiding in people's hearts so that they can't understand what Hebrews 1:1 says? I don't want to sound like a hypocrite, but it is time for us to look in our hearts and repent and turn from all sins even the ones that are hard to see.

-->God, who at various times and in diverse manners
spoke in times past unto the fathers by the prophets,<--
Okay, verse 1 seems to be a partial thought,
can you be a little more specific as to how this
applies to hidden sins of the heart?
Come, let us reason together...:)

Sorry Hebrews 1:1-2. God is only speaking to us through His Son now.

No man they wern't. You dont understand it. No offence
Good to hear. No offence taken. Still, a few more bread crumbs wouldn't hurt. I understand the verse, I don't understand what you're thinking in relation to the verse. How does this relate to your hidden sins thoughts?
