Welcome to CC Christianeagle! What an exciting move for you. Are you moving for work? Have you visited the states before? When will you be coming over? I always admire people who go on amazing adventures like this. I'm not in New York, but many blessings to you as you get moved. :)

My little sister moved to NYC last year and loves it....i hope you also have a great experience. She hustled at two retail jobs for a few months until finally finding a position in the field she wants to be in.

What brings you to nyc out of all the places in the world?

Exactly. So his comment doesn't make any sense and it just pure moot lol
Well, I meant that there are very conservative areas in the U.S. and very liberal areas. There's a wide wide range of beliefs and culture depending on where you live, not only in regions, or state to state, but town to town.

Texas for instance is a very conservative state. Austin, the capital of Texas, is extremely liberal.

I guess if you are into high taxes, government in your private life telling you what to do, high cost of living due to the tax and spend democrats, I guess it is moot.

me I much rather have low cost of living, government staying out of my life. and low taxes

So its not politics. Its just you couldn't afford to live the high life any more nothing wrong with that it happens to most of us once the money's ran out as long as you can keep on smiling! :D

How does the government tell you what to do in your private life? No matter where you live, you'll have to abide by the law of the government unless you have your own country/state.

I hear what you're saying though.

Yes it is politics that made it outrageous to live in the libtard states, Also the government has no right to tell me how to live my life, what size soda I should be allowed to buy or any other libtard garbage legislation they have passed.

I for one am not interesting in living in the Soviet Union.

For the record...New York City actually has other laws the rest of the state doesnt have and their Political agenda is crazy! If the city could form into its own country it would!

Welcome to CC! Best if luck in the Big Apple!

He who loves the world is of the world and he who hates it is of the Father.

Or something like that. ;)

Hi, it's actually God who called me. I'm having faith for a job and visa, I do have relatives in Philadelphia and Pennslyvania so yes I've been before in 2007, during that trip I visited New York city once, including Ellis Island immigration museum and and the statue of liberty. I've also been to Orange County, Southern California for 3 months in 2015. I plan to come during summer so July/August but poss earlier. Blessings
