We have a few people who come into the Lounge and half of the chat is in spanish. And sometimes nearly all of it. Having a room for people who only speak english would come in handy. Or maybe a spanish speaking room so the Lounge doesn't continue getting taken over daily.

He only said it would make people feel excluded. (And I asked him, "Why?")
It makes people feel excluded when others come on and purposefully speak in another language when they can obviously speak English in the first place. What EXACTLY is the point in that? Hm?

Just because you want something separate for yourself doesn't meant it's exclusionary. An English only room is not in and of itself exclusionary, there not being a Spanish or Indian only room is what does.

If you know these two people at all, they are very light hearted that enjoy making people laugh and smile and that's the point they are trying to make.

Life is too short for everyone to be serious all the time in fact it would be a bit boring. Yes life is not one big joke, but having the ability to laugh gets people through the hard times in life.

Im not going through this merry go round with you because you may know about the chat rooms, but you do not know these individual people on here and that's what my post was talking about. Reborn and Willie are friends of mine that I've had the privilege to know here and they both have a rockin sense of humor so please don't act like you know everything about everyone because you clearly don't.

God Bless you

I hardly ever use español. And when I do, it is just to tease with a Latino, or something like that. Please don't give in to paranoia and think we are talking about you. We aren't.

Trust me, if I want to talk about someone, I very explicitly make it clear... and in English. Ask anyone. LOL

Well. That's annoying and not funny.
I make a remark about your comment. You return with a personal attack against me. Guess your true character is showing.
You made a negative remark about his post without a hint of being gracious for his benefit. He makes a negative remark with a playful smiley in response to you. Correct me if I'm wrong.

What makes his remark a personal attack? Because he reflected what you said and adding a you in it? If you didn't like your remark being used against you, why use it against others or others' post?

I'm sorry for derailing. Going back to topic, if you ask these spanish-speaking kiddos in chat to talk in English. I'm sure they won't mind. :)
