The theological foundations to Kenyon and Hagin are important as they justify all the spiritual stuff going on.
And no one really knows quite what it means, gold dust, gold teeth, angels feathers, smoke other than mainly delusion.
I have seen enough fake pastors showing gems from angles to make one sick.

Now for an open civil caring loving community, your side just saying people are blaspheming the Holy Spirit and not answering the questions is being totally dishonest.

This is my main point. The men exposed in the videos have laid the theological groundwork for much of what we are seeing the the modern church that is going completely ignored and not addressed by most people. Churches like Bethel Redding are polluting the church through their music and band Jesus Culture. International House of Prayer is the same way. Thousands of churches following their style are all around the world. These are the faces of modern Christianity and their foundations were laid by men like Hagin and Copeland. They are part of the trunk of what I would consider a bad tree. The roots go way further back into the mid to late 1800s with the introduction of occultism into Christianity, which is nothing new, but since then it has been embraced like never before in history.

What really makes me the angriest about it is their target age group. It's all kids and teens and young adults. So you end up with churches full of heathen children who may genuinely have a want for knowing God, but all they are being shown is a counterfeit god.

Then why doesn't He simply heal and save everyone without us praying for it? Why did the miracles only happen when Jesus came and the disciples began to do it in His Name? Why didn't He do it booom out of heaven? Why did that sick man at Bethesda have to wait for his healing til Jesus had grown up?
. We don't decide what He has to do, but He needs people to work through, a Body on earth. Why does He tell us to pray for souls because He wants them all saved if He can simply do that anyway? Why did He give His authority to the church? We had to pray: Thy Kingdom come. Thy will be done.

When I talk about love, about discovery of life within, of walking deeper in relationships and communion, I am talking another language.

When I talk of these things here the "spiritual" ones say, what are you talking about, while those who have listened to Christs words say, yes I know that, that has happened to me also.

Now fraud, lying, false authority, false prophecy, deception, denial, rampant sin and exploitation run riot in the "gifts" churches. And they do not care. Worse still if you point it out, you are called satanic, with a demon of religion.
By their fruit you shall know them. Walking in the light is something they hate, because being honest and open means admitting it is mainly fake.

Is Jesus going to call saying this is mostly fake and criminal exploitation is a blasphemy against the Holy Spirit, then you do not know Jesus. How could the Holy Spirit create such a mess?

The gifts are primarily for the building up of the Kingdom and the confirmation of the forgiveness of sins.
What these guys want is the building up of their health and wealth for selfish self indulgence. That is condemned by scripture as God does not answer prayers for self indulgence.

Now listen, you rich people, weep and wail because of the misery that is coming on you.
You have lived on earth in luxury and self-indulgence. You have fattened yourselves in the day of slaughter.
Jam 5:1-5


What causes fights and quarrels among you? Don’t they come from your desires that battle within you? You desire but do not have, so you kill. You covet but you cannot get what you want, so you quarrel and fight. You do not have because you do not ask God. When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasures.


You adulterous people, don’t you know that friendship with the world means enmity against God?

Therefore, anyone who chooses to be a friend of the world becomes an enemy of God.
James 4:1-4

These people have shown themselves as enemies of God as testified by the apostles 2,000 years ago.
Nothing changes in the world, apostacy is still the same as always.

People have stopped trusting God but expecting wealth when a preacher says provide him with a seed investment. That is pure greed.

What is obvious is the fruit of this movement and it is not honouring spiritual reality.

I see wrong fruit, greed etc. but you can't dismiss the whole movement because of that. There are also not greedy charismatics who don't earn much. There are preachers with a private jet who tell poor widows to tithe to them, but also the other way around. My charismatic pastor drives a bike lol that he lends from someone.

No thanks. One guy where I went it was simply New Age. But I've also been to Godly charismatic preachers who just have fruit, live holy. I saw Jesus. To tell them apart you have to stay close to God and with a lot I simply don't know and don't judge.

What I could never connect was how lawlessness could become a religious position in the church, but now I see it.
The next is how righteous God fearing people could be persecuted and rejected out of this church.

Now we see it.

There is a rise of worship within atheism, which mimics the church. Soon all that will be required is a focus for the adoration.
The fanatic Jews are looking for him, the fanatic muslims are looking for him.

The financial crisis in the world is building, but I wonder if there is a choice involved or this is set in stone.

There is a way to delay this judgement, but it relies on His people praying and staying faithful.

I agree....it was a fallen angel that he saw for sure.....they come "looking" like they are for righteousness and that they themselves are righteous....but they are not...Jesus is our righteousness. .anyone who denies that...is denying the Lord...and is anti-Christ in nature..

I am not condemning a whole movement I am saying the people here on CC, those who consistently opposed basic spiritual experience were all from the "spiritual" gifted camp.

They all condemned and opposed simple values of love and respect and were happy to jump to conclusions. When talking about love, it was like talking to a hardened seared hypocrite who had not time for this.

I was a legalist bound up and had no understanding of spiritual warfare and the gifts as that was what it was about, claiming health and wealth, domination of the worldly sphere, and ignoring sin or real repentance from the heart.

Righteousness, purity, love are no longer on their hearts or even talked about, let alone sin and repentance.
The bible is not preached just small snippets to convey a concept they have constructed. It is no wonder people can be flattered into gifting, when there real contribution to the body of Christ is ignored.

The Catholic Church teaches that Grace is a physical substance. They believe a person can be so full with Grace that there is no room left for sins. Therefore if you are full of Grace you cannot sin because there is no room for sins in you.

If a person just looked at themselves with a magnifying glass would they think that something they did over the course of a week or a month could be construed as against Christ, or against scriptural teaching, etc...?

Would that "one" mistake you committed over the course of that month qualify you as a false Christ or false teacher or false whatever else?

Or would you "forgive" yourself of that mistake and seek Christ and His Mercy and Grace? Considering yourself, once again, a True Christian...

I think we could label every person on Earth as a false something or other if we keep the magnifying glass on them for long enough.
