A rare one for you. This is actually Sly and the Family Stone doing "Dance to The Music" in French. (They called themselves "The French Fries" for this one.)
someone had posted earlier that ccr bad moon rising was about going into the jungle at night. Believe it or not bad moon rising is about the blood moons Dan Fogerty wrote it.
According to Wikipedia: "Fogerty reportedly wrote "Bad Moon Rising" after watching The Devil and Daniel Webster. Inspired by a scene in the film involving a hurricane, Fogerty claims the song is about "the apocalypse that was going to be visited upon us."[2]
Cream is excellent, used to have their stuff along with some solo Clapton as well. Disraeli Gears also one of those utterly flawless albums start to finish.
The Cream albumn I have has four songs from the Disraeli Gears albumn. You probably know this Benjamin Disraeli was prime minister of Great Britain twice. I have a little plaque that I've had for eons that is a quote of his and it says "To be concious that you're ignorant is a great step towards knowledge." He was Jewish and his father Isaac detested rabbinic Judaism.
Gosh I love to listen to Cream, Ginger Baker's drumming was so IN YOUR FACE!
There will never be another one like her. And she didn't even sing what I consider her best song at Woodstock.
