Stunnedbygrace - you are not very good at reading stuff or understanding some basic ideas.

Being condescending to someone who spends their life analysing things, breaking them down and building them up again is not very wise. I am willing to wait until you actually catch up. Do you understand why when I mentioned the good samaritan I thought, hey this contradicts this theology. Now the answer is he is a believer. Fat chance.
Show where he is an unbeliever, please. there is none righteous, NONE. None are good, only one(Christ.)

If we do not have the Holy Spirit working THROUGH us, it is evil. I produce evil. I do it everyday when I am not filled and walking in the Spirit.

I pity you. You seem as uptight and fearful as legalists are.

I would love to see the same from you. Are you able to explain in simple terms what it is that you actually believe?
Acts 16:31.

30and after he brought them out, he said, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?”

31They said, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household.”

To good to be true huh? For legalists it is, not for down and out sinners.

Back off of Stunnedbygrace a little bit, will you please, Peter? Thanks, ok?

We aren't ridiculing you. We are just worried that your butt might chap because it's winter. We have to try to talk some sense into you.
I am kinda down right now, and I don't really know that anyone Truly cares all that much about me OR my scrawny butt, so I don't really have any good things to say, I'm sorry, (although I have a few lines that might be humorous as a comeback, and you certainly seem to have a nice touch), but I just don't know if I can get in that frame of mind, so I apologize for seeming a bit confusing, otherwise, I really want to engage you.

Well, I am not. I rather enjoy Grace and the rest it provides. If it seems I am uptight and fearful, it is just me not getting my point across. My fault.

You're trying to tell me that that is the same as this?

1. Everyones sin is forgiven, in the whole world
2. Deeds outside sin are the cause of judgement
3. Any deed done outside Christ is evil, dooms you to hell
4. Deeds done in Christ are righteous.

I think grace 777 summed it up. He died for the sins of the whole world but some will not accept this or go to Him and it is terrifying to think of. ( my paraphrase of his post, sorry).

I think some of us are not willing to condemn anyone because we are in a sling if we do. So for someone to desire a "run down" of our beliefs is okay, but if they insist that we must condemn or judge anyone to make them happy and approving that we have "correct" doctrine, we can't do it. Our conscience won't let us.

Condemn a homosexual who Christ died for? But how, when we know that even thoughts are sexual sin already done?
Condemn a murderer who Christ died for? But how, when we know anger in our heart is murder already done?
You who condemn them, why do you do these same things? That is the verse we see clearly and take to heart.

We are not wrong to let God be the judge and we are not wrong to leave it in His hands. Our judgement is so often flawed. WE are flawed.

You can continue trying to beat us into submission to your theology but it won't work because we fear God more than you.

Now we can judge another believer, as to where he is. That we can do. We have seen some arrogance in you, by the way you speak and the words you spit at us: stupid, insane, repeating doctrines of demons, heretics, false professors, false teachers, etc., etc., etc. But would it do any good to try to speak to you about it and try to get you to be kinder and more patient? Nothing we could say would make you see what you are doing to our Lord. Only He canconvict you of what you do and the bitter, unlovely way you do it.

Lastly, I was not being condescending to you. It wasn't even in my mind. I was being sincere when I said I believed you would be the one who turned out to be surprised when you really did find out what they believed. You seem to assume they all believe the same exact things.

I have no idea what you're talking about. You talk in the veiled language of gnostics that I really don't understand.
how is this veiled?................Prove to us that the good Samaritan is not a believer.

We have Jesus Christ Himself that say no one is good, only one(Christ)

we have scripture that say none are righteous.

So why is The Lord Jesus Christ using an unbeliever to prove to a person who relies on their OWN works to be saved to prove to them that they can produce good works?

That is not veiled my friend. It is simple.

I don't understand the point of your question. It's silly and unprovable because both believers and unbelievers can do works like that. In either case it is a good work.

Oh man, I thought you were joking in your last post. What's up sydlit? It's graces thread so we are free to derail it. What's going on and why are you so down? I do care. Talk to us.

No, it's one of the most confused things pertaining to the gospel that I have ever seen.
And just to clarify, #3 is incorrect. Believers "good" done in the flesh is burned. A believer cannot be doomed to hell.

The unbelievers self righteous deeds done for salvation are what are judged.

Ring a bell?..............oh your good enough! I will just be a little better than my bad. my good outweighs my bad...........I am good enough.

King James Bible
But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.

It sometimes seems that it is believers, not unbelievers, who are the most self righteous...

That says our righteousness is as filthy rags, not our righteous deeds. We are wholly unrighteous, but are able to do righteous deeds.
