Prayer of the Impatient...

Lord, life is short, please hurry. :p

Well maybe we'd do better with a hymn on Patience...

  1. Have Thine own way, Lord! Have Thine own way!
Thou art the Potter, I am the clay.
Mold me and make me after Thy will,
While I am waiting, yielded and still.
  2. Have Thine own way, Lord! Have Thine own way!
Search me and try me, Master, today!
Whiter than snow, Lord, wash me just now,
As in Thy presence humbly I bow.
  3. Have Thine own way, Lord! Have Thine own way!
Wounded and weary, help me, I pray!
Power, all power, surely is Thine!
Touch me and heal me, Savior divine.
  4. Have Thine own way, Lord! Have Thine own way!
Hold o’er my being absolute sway!
Fill with Thy Spirit till all shall see
Christ only, always, living in me.

One of my favorite Hymns ............... :) When sincerely sung with a contrite heart, I dare anyone to NOT feel the Holy Spirit's presence............ :)

This is the third time this week that God has brought this exact verse to me. I think I need to memorize it, and figure out what God wants me to do with it!

Thanks for posting it!

Just my thoughts, but I think He wants us to believe it. To put our faith in His Word.........No matter the situation we find ourselves in, no matter the trials or tribulations...........they are for BUT a season......and Truly.......

JOY COMETH IN THE MORNING.

I was encouraging a young woman this morning who cannot believe God would save her, because of the evil of her sins. I ended with this verse, which is not just about patience, but all the fruits of the Spirit. This is where we all need to be going. I don't think anyone has all these fruits in their life.

"But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,23 gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law." Gal. 5:22-23

Galatians 5:22 - But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
Ditto.....
