My favorite local places are:

- Watching the planes land and take off at LAX
- Huntington Beach
- Newport Beach
- Pegasus Hobbies (I love to browse all the collectable cars and planes they have there)
- Fashion Island (a beautiful outdoor mall in newport beach)
- Las Vegas (but I haven't been there in more than 10 years)

Non-local places:

- Maui, Honolulu/Waikiki (Hawaii is my favorite place of all)
- Southern New Jersey, a.k.a. South Jersey (I grew up there)
- Toronto, Canada (we used to visit relatives there when I was a kid)

Love Maui!! I do not miss California. I miss Yosemite, that's about all. I am thrilled to be in FLORIDA!!! Always places to go and things to do. If I need the mountains, which I do now and then. I load the crew and off we go.

I like Florida. We visited Jacksonville and Orlando when I was a kid. Just don't like the humidity.

HAHA that is why you like next the beach. No humidity, beautiful scenery and nice breezes. Humidity inside the state, like Orlando is a killer from May through September! However you certainly glisten.
