p_rehbein before you judge another, you may wish to look at James 4:4 which fits everyone who wishes to become President,so really as a believer should we even vote at all?? For many of us we do Thank God we have this freedom!! Freedom with great blood shed for us to keep this wonderful freedom! Like everything in life, all things as well as all people come with a cost,Jesus never voted, and what is important is how as allow ourselves to be Led in this process.( Rom 8:14-15) I do not judge another,I judge me! So Jesus will not have to!( rom 2:1-5) please pay attention to verse 4 here. thanks
I'll grant you that, half-way. In the grand scheme of things, this politics isn't as important as G-d's ideas and eternity. But, its still important how you behave in reaction in this world because that reflects our walk.

I'm pretty sure we can give judgement if we do it rightly without being proud or sinful about it. 2 Timothy 3:16 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness,

Anyways, I've said all I wanted to say. I'll see you around

Our faith in G-d is the most important thing... we should use that for judgement. We should choose someone who is wise enough to be careful with how we say things. I'm against PC because of its vagueness, blanket usage, but I'm not against GC... a G-dly correctness. The bible tells us to have G-dly filters when saying things... it isn't just say anything.. that'd be sinful.
Well I don't think your judgment is any better than mine...in fact I know its not...so I use my judgment and you can use yours ....and anyone that is so religious they cant say or spell God is probably got some real issue and religious hag-ups... I doubt your judgment is really based on true wisdom from God?

What's worse, speaking from the heart in a non-p/c manner or being part of the p/c thought police and pushing an agenda to control the masses? Make no mistake, p/c cops are not p/c because they care about people and want everyone to get along but rather they have an insatiable appetite to control everyone, especially White Christian conservatives.
I completely agree with you that pc is a system to control. Its like using the words narrowminded... tolerance... diversity... if you don't agree with them.... anything you say is wrong because your dumb, evil, bigot according to them (which is not necessarily true). I agree that is wrong and completely unfair. I understand the frustration... it gets on my nerves. But, its also clear that G-d doesn't want our mouth to be unchecked by G-d. That's why I think there's a GC based off G-d's word. Cussing for example is one thing that we should filter... anger is another thing we need to be careful about. I believe there's righteous and sinful anger.

Proverbs 13:3 Those who guard their lips preserve their lives, but those speak rashly will come to ruin.

How can you relate biblical speech to PC speech? PC speech has as its main agenda to silence biblical truth.
I think their both filters. PC is a filter for subtly supporting the sinful liberal ideology. I think biblical speech is a filter too, but against sins, like cussing, speaking rashly or other biblical teachings. I'm not saying their exactly the same. I brought biblical speech up because I thought Trump clearly violates it the worst.

Sorry to burst in on this discussion. But after what happened last Oct. in our election, I really don't want to see Americans elect a Muslim convert, whose main credential in life was being a bar bouncer, Trudeau, not Trump, of course.

But speaking of Trump, I do have to express my total disapproval for the man. I have loads of American pastor friends on FB, and they are all posting article after article on how Trump is not a Christian, has no ethics, and Christians who vote for him do not get that his values/lifestyle/motives, etc, are not Christian.

I really struggled to know who to vote for in our election, because we have 4 parties. I knew over and over I could not vote for Trudeau, after the havoc his father wrought in Canada during his 13 years as prime minister. I prayed, and God told me to do some independent research. That was when I found out my local conservative candidate was a strong, born again Christian. But even his campaign office didn't want to admit it to me, like it was a liability!! But by then it was too late for me to campaign.

The candidate lost his bid for re-election, despite a sterling reputation in the community. And of course the Liberal guy, totally inexperienced got in, along with his bouncer leader, who is literally dismantling the fabric of our nation. Right now, he has a committee planning how to get assisted suicide through for the mentally ill. We won't even get into withdrawing our jets from the ISIS offensive and letting in a bunch of Syrian and Iraqis refugees his Muslim Brotherhood buddies.

So if you want another 4 bad years under a president with no political experience, by all means vote for Trump. But when it all goes bad, just remember, "I told you so!"

I must say brothers and sisters I was wrong about Trump winning Iowa! But what the Cruz team did to the Carson camp,by saying he was out of the race, when he was not, just to get more votes was low for a so called believer to do to another! I saw one of his team leaders, a lady who said we did not mean it, then said all is fair in love and war, which tells me they did know they were lieing! He will suffer a great consequence for that action!( Col 3:25) I can tell you this without judging,I sure would never partake of his fruit! I was unsure about him before,i am no longer unsure of him now! I understand why his party does not care for him!

Trump has had to keep up with the fads and fashions of this country in order to survive in business. I believe that he is sick and tired of the stupid path this country is going and would like to put this country back on a path of American made (not assembled). I also do not see a group of yuppy friends and politicians surrounding trump, who will be beating on the door of the white house with their hands out wanting repayment for their support. Trump also graduated from a military academy which will give him a basic knowledge of how that side of the government operates. Trump is by no means perfect, but I don't believe he's hiding anything.

Dude I like Trump and Carson ..but the nonsense that Cruz cheated or did anything immoral is just a lie and repeating a lie itself.

Equally silly is the implication that Cruz knew about it.

I love how Christians support Trump although his actions are the exact opposite of Christian.. boastful, narcissistic, and a bully. ..if you think these are Christian attributes, you must be reading a different Bible

It is not a kissing contest dude!! LOL It is ruthless, and it has nothing to do with the bible either. It is a worldly position for the world, not for us.( James 4:4) And I am sorry to have to disagree with Mitspa, and Desdichado, Cruz said he was sorry, and the Kenneth Copland smile does not work for me! And to prove to you both that he did know, Cruz will not win another state! So we will see who is right. We as believers vote not for a Christian, because a real believer would never run for the office in the first place,we vote for a person who will allow us believers to stay at peace one with another.( Rom 14:19) That is how I see it.
