Beause they were my favourite band back in those days. And I did explain my background. The Doors were a key band that influenced me to get into playing music professionally. I guess I was a "bad girl" too! But the point of it, is that God can save even the most wicked person. And the amazing way I got into music, which became a ministry to God, and a profession as I spent 8 years teaching band and elementary music in school. I have often given this testimony about how God used my love of music to bring me to him, and then to use my music for his glory.
Sadly, I don't think Jim Morrison was ever saved. He died of a heroin overdose in Paris.
