from false conspiracies.

People can't or refuse to discern true conspiracies from false conspiracies because They love the pleasures of this life more than they love God. Many of them love their current lifestyle and refuse to bring themselves to admit it is coming to an end. A high percentage of them are practicing sins of impurity which are binding them, and are blinding them. They can't see the spirit of the antichrist around them because they are too busy making money and fornicating.

Galatians 5:16
I say then, walk in the spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lusts of the flesh.

Mark 4:19
And the cares of the world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts after other things entering in choke the word, and it is made fruitless.

Romans 6:12
Let no sin therefore reign in your mortal body, so as to obey the lusts thereof.

2 Peter 3:3
Knowing this first, that in the last days there shall come deceitful scoffers, walking after their own lusts,

Ephesians 6:12
For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood; but against principalities and power, against the rulers of the world of this darkness, against the spirits of wickedness in the high places.

1 Thessalonians 4:1
For the rest therefore, brethren, we pray and beseech you in the Lord Jesus, that as you have received from us, how you ought to walk, and to please God, so also you would walk, that you may abound the more.

You appear to be confusing conspiracies with Bible teaching. A conspiracy such as those surrounding the assassination of JFK has little to do with the moral and spiritual condition of those who refuse to believe them. There have been a number of strange and unbelievable things posted on this forum. I expect there are quite a few on this site making Money but I doubt there are many fornicating or who would admit it.

I think it's more because they are taught to accept everything and question nothing. When it challenges their notions of things, it causes them to be uncomfortable/defensive and instead of seeking to find if there is truth in it, they just shun away from it for fear of it causing a disturbance to their viewpoints of the world.

i think you hit the nail on the head with your post. those that mock every conspiracy theory are the same ones that dont want to see the truth. the truth will set you free but the truth can also turn your world upside down.
most accept todays version of Christianity is far from the church that Jesus and the 12 set up. and how did our church get here, because many of our church leaders IMO have been lead away from the truth.

I gave up even listening to conspiracy theories long ago. Not because I'm lazy or because I love the world's pleasures or because "I just don't want to know the truth." Because every person yelling about conspiracy theories has nothing to yell about what we can do. No plan of action. "SOMETHING IS WRONG!!!" over and over and over, without any "THIS IS WHAT WE CAN DO ABOUT IT!" gets really old.

In fact I have tried asking conspiracy theorists what we can do about (insert theory here.) Their answers are always "We need to let people know!" Um... Okay, but what can we do about the problem. Letting people know about the problem is useless without a solution. They won't even listen to the problem - they have heard it all before and are tired of it - but if you tell them what we can do about (insert conspiracy theory here) they might listen.

I have concluded conspiracy theorists are gossips who gossip about government and corporations rather than people they know. They don't want to solve the problem, they just want to gossip about it.

Would you like a list of conspiracies theories the majority of people once claimed were false, but it is now common knowledge among most of these people that these conspiracies theories have been proven to be factual?

Arguing with conspiracy theorists is a curious game. The only winning move is to not play.

Here's afew reason why

Isaiah 8:12-13 "Do not call conspiracy everything that these people call conspiracy; do not fear what they fear, and do not dread it. The Lord Almighty is the one you are to regard as holy, he is the one you are to fear, he is the one you are to dread."

2 Samuel 15:12 While Absalom was offering the sacrifices, he sent for Ahithophel, one of David's counselors who lived in Giloh. Soon many others also joined Absalom, and the conspiracy gained momentum.

Acts 23:12 "The next morning the Jews formed a conspiracy and bound themselves with an oath not to eat or drink until they had killed Paul."

Luke 17:20-21 "The kingdom of God is not coming with signs to be observed; nor will they say, 'Look, here it is!' or, 'There it is!' For behold, the kingdom of God is in your midst."

Proverbs 14:15 "A simple man believes anything, but a prudent man gives thought to his steps."

The reason that people can't or refuse to discern true conspiracies is because they are too busy just dealing with reality. Personally, I have better things to do with my precious time to worry about the sky falling.

For some reason I'm reminded of a recent Arlo & Janis comic. Janis is texting and Arlo tries to see what she's talking about. Janis turns the phone away from him. Arlo thinks to himself, "It's getting harder to eavesdrop these days."

Meanwhile in an NSA bunker with satellite dishes all over it, one NSA worker says to another, "Hey check out what this guy just thought!"

The truth will set us you free, yes. But that truth is Jesus Christ, not some conspiracy theory nonsense.

If, & that's a big "if", people knew how many were true, & how many of them tie in to the coming of the Antichrist, they would realize that we're no longer in the last days, but in the last hours, possibly in the last minutes.

The problem with conspiracy theorists is that when you present them with documented evidence that debunks the conspiracy theories, they will just tell you that your evidence is a conspiracy. Or they just conveniently ignore any evidence that doesn't line up with their preconceived notions
