"Tulip" is a small easy to read book that contrasts the difference between Calvin and Armenian. But we are called Christians because we follow Christ, and his people worship him in Spirit and truth and according to the Scriptures, which are his words.

Search the Scriptures for in them you think you have eternal life. And they are that which testifies of me......John 5:39
The Bible cannot save anyone. Christ the Lord does that. But the Bible speaks of and is all about our God and Our Lord Jesus Christ. It is the word of God for us to study and learn about him. And you should see Christ on every page of Scripture both old and new testament

I KNOW nothing about a book. However I KNOW the above is the 5 points of Calvinsim.

Thats quite humerous HeRose lol.

Anyhow, it can't be because the gospel is never wilted, and all TULIP is, is a very shorthand explanantion of gospel truth. Its certainly more biblical than the five points of arminious' followers.

And for those who want to know what it really means -- here's a crash course in the real basics. (Not to be confused with the response above.)

Today many so called Christians have walked away from the Truth we had for thousands of years to foll the new modern theology that is so watered down that it is worthless.

Well we do live in a spiritual drought. We are to feed and water the sheep with the word of God. Sadly, not many today HEAR his word being proclaimed faithfully. No one is saved by a lie, but by the power of God and That, to and for his Glory.

I thank God Daily for each precious one who truly belongs to God. And I actually KNOW some. That's amazing.

Our purpose here is to proclaim Our God's Grace to his people and Give HIM all the glory due his name. Cease from your works and rest in his. He can't fail. We are NOT under the law but under Grace.

How can you say the bible cannot save anyone? We will be judged by it someday, and it tells us how to be saved from that judgement. That makes it life-saving words, if you follow them. It is God's word. How will we know unless we're told? Faith comes by hearing the word of God, and without faith it is impossible to please God, and if you don't please God you will not be saved. How can you say that? The Word and the Spirit go hand and hand.

It's my understanding that final judgement is actually not what you are saying with regard to the Bible?

"For not even the Father judges anyone, but He has given all judgment to the Son, JOHN 5:22

There are two separate judgments. Believers are judged at the Judgment Seat of Christ (Romans 14:10-12). Every believer will give an account of himself, and the Lord will judge the decisions he made—including those concerning issues of conscience. This judgment does not determine salvation, which is by faith alone (Ephesians 2:8-9), but rather is the time when believers must give an account of their lives in service to Christ. Our position in Christ is the “foundation” spoken of in 1 Corinthians 3:11-15. That which we build upon the foundation can be the “gold, silver, and precious stones” of good works in Christ’s name, obedience and fruitfulness—dedicated spiritual service to glorify God and build the church. Or what we build on the foundation may be the “wood, hay and stubble” of worthless, frivolous, shallow activity with no spiritual value. The Judgment Seat of Christ will reveal this.

The gold, silver and precious stones in the lives of believers will survive God’s refining fire (v. 13), and believers will be rewarded based on those good works—how faithfully we served Christ (1 Corinthians 9:4-27), how well we obeyed the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20), how victorious we were over sin (Romans 6:1-4), how well we controlled our tongues (James 3:1-9), etc. We will have to give an account for our actions, whether they were truly indicative of our position in Christ. The fire of God’s judgment will completely burn up the “wood, hay and stubble” of the words we spoke and things we did which had no eternal value. “So then, each of us will give an account of himself to God” (Romans 14:12 ).

What does the Bible say about when God will judge us?

Jesus Christ the Living Word of God saves us. The Bible is His testament, laying out God's purposes and plans for us inasmuch as He has revealed them to us. I think that is what Josef was saying... but I could be wrong. We are saved by God. There is power in His revealed written words, and they point to Him, but it is the Living Word, residing in us, that saves.

Agreed with that Josef!
