Remember when people were comfortable talking face to face?
Remember when you had the phone in the kitchen with the looooong extension cord?
Remember pay phones?
Remember paper rolodexes?
Remember having to remember someones # to call them?
Remember when you had to actually talk to communicate your thoughts, instead of texting, emailing, IM'ing, emoticons etc.?
I wanted to start this thread to get us talking about how communication has changed for the worst...and the better...and how this tipping point in communication is reflective in our biblical worldview.
Thoughts?
I personally believe that this progressive and convenient shift in communication opens up HUGE opportunity for problems and these problems can only get worst fast. SO MANY of the problems that we see in our society are in some way or another associated with bad communication.
Also, questions I would like generate are: What is good communication? And what is bad communication?
