just wanted to reply about perfection Yes I have the spirit of God In me and it is perfect because Christ is perfect. But my flesh falls short every day. I am as perfect as Jesus Christ is by his spirit he gave me. What a joy and a rest it is to know my constant sins are washed and covered and I am not under the Law of sin and death.
In God's eyes I am as perfect as his son because God the father does not see my sins but he sees the perfection of his son. Jesus is not here now but his spirit is and I for one am thankful. God Bless you as only he can do.

Whosoever is born of God does not commit sin

Romans 12:1-2
King James Version(KJV)

1.)I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

2.)And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

I have yet to become perfect or complete, but I do press on to the goal.
If you have been reborn,I would say that You are talking about the flesh/the body that has not been glorified yet because the spirit was made perfect.

Hebrews 12:21-24
King James Version(KJV)

21.)And so terrible was the sight, that Moses said, I exceedingly fear and quake:)

22.)But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city
of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels,

23.)To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect,

24.)And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.

I don’t understand you when you say, “Whosoever is born of God does not commit sin.” If we break a commandment, we sin, whether we are born of God or not. Or are you saying that if I break a commandment, then I am not born of God?

Then I hope you don't fall away in false worship, thinking the messiah soon to come in our time will be our Lord Jesus, for He warned us against doing that, and that would be a HUGE SIN against our Lord Jesus He WOULD remember!

Perfect means complete. Being holy (set apart from the world through our regeneration via the Holy Spirit of God), we are to find our rest in Him, our Creator, Lord, and savior, and stop seeking fulfilment from the world (idolatry), which satisfies only the flesh, for the flesh counts for nothing, and though we yet remain in this world, we are not of this world.
