Ok this is a shameless ploy for cheering up. Hit 44yrs old today and don't know how happy about it I am. Is it time to get out the wrinkle cream? :( A new hairstyle? What do you all do to feel better about getting older?

I eat chocolate to reverse my age. :cool: My brown hair has more silver than brown in it. :( I'm too lazy to color it..lol :)

I long for my youthful days where I grew my hair, played sports with reckless abandonment and drank beer with little to no hangovers the next day. All that said however, my true joy comes from the Lord, and there are times I literally get excited knowing that with each passing day, I am that much closer to being with Him.

Happy Birthday, my dear Sister, and rejoice knowing you too are closer to being with Christ. :)

Thank you brother. I do appreciate every year. My aunt died at 43 with stomach cancer. So I feel blessed for each year I have. But I do feel a year older still.lol

Happy Birthday kaylagrl! I just recently turned 50 and I just remind myself that I only have 6 more years to go to retire and that makes me feel better about getting older. Lol
