It says, 'if we say that we HAVE NOT SINNED we make God a liar' (1.10). Anyone who claims he has not sinned makes God a liar

remember, though, that justification is a gift.
it isn't anything we're able to earn.

Romans, Paul's great treatise on justification, is replete with that idea. :)

You have been saying all day, Faith plus something leads to salvation.

So, according to moms definition, You are a legalist.

Oh and by the way, You said the apostle John was a liar when he said a child of God can not live in sin also.

So.. WHat do you expect us to think?

Never said that. You said that although he said you can't sin still people sin and if you hate your brother but fell back you're still saved and he says then you're in darkness. Contradictions are always fun to figure out.

A child of God can not live like they lived in the world.

Struggling with a sin is not the same as living in sin.. Again, you need to study more, and see what things actually mean.

You state one can be saved, Then sin themselves out of salvation.

So like HRFTD, You are teaching law not grace (because it is the law which condemns, and tells us what sin is)

yes they are fin to figure out, Thats why HRFTD is so fun to discuss the bible with, It is to easy to take what he said, and see he totally destorys the word of God, because all the contradictions he imposes on the word.

Again I ask, DO you not think that because you are leaning towards being like him, that you do not see his flaws?
 
I have never seen a salvation by works teacher try to defend their position using the blood of Christ as their main points. It can't be done. Because it would then be all about Christ and not about self. As Christians, Christ empowers us to live for Him. I exhort brethren to keep in mind the blood sacrifice(Heb 9:14), and to keep relying on Christ, the author and finisher of our faith, to carry out His work through us in our lives as Christians. I know whom I have believed.

"For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day." 2 Tim 1:12
 
how we love James, loved by Paul with the honor of being thought of as a PILLAR of the Faith...

JAMES1:23-24-25.
For if any be a hearer of the Word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his
natural face in a glass;
For he beholds himself, and goes his way, and straightway forgets what manner of man he was.

But whoso looks into the perfect law of liberty, and continues, he being not a forgetful hearer,
but a doer of the Work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.

That's not what the bible says. It says IF we sin. What you just said is what the Calvinists/Christian gnostics believe, who think that free will is dead and they are compelled by nature to sin, and they must sin (t̶h̶e̶ ̶d̶e̶v̶i̶l̶ ̶m̶a̶d̶e̶ ̶m̶e̶ ̶d̶o̶ ̶i̶t̶ the sin nature made me do it).

​My little children, I am writing these [things] to you in order that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous [one], 1 John 2:1​
