If homosexuality is an abomination to God, why do some Christians support it?

Naw Utah can take it like a man and move on. Never had him act like anything but a gentleman to me.Some of the boys here could well learn from him.

You mean like yesterday when you put words in my mouth several times over? Believe me, I embrace criticism when its accurate and necessary. Now go eat some chocolate and chill out.

The first argument was over did Jesus speak against homosexuality, the words (while he was alive) never was mentioned.

of which myself and a few others questioned what she said, Because Jesus certainly did say somethign against it, in his word to the Jews in the OT and even (even though in not so many words) while he walked the earth.

And she got mad. And thats our fault?

Even later, when she said she meant while wlaking the earth only, the damage had already been done, Because she got mad, and it spiraled downhill.

The second discussion is did God say that gays have no excuse, that they KNOW WHAT THEY DO IS SIN, but they lie, and say it is ok? or did Paul not.

SO you see,, It has gotten out of hand.

Naw man, whats unbelievable is telling someone to shut up in a public forum. Saying you feel the need to choke someone who disagrees with you is unbelievable. Utah and I sometimes disagree,rarely, and other men here and they still know how to act like gentleman.

I see. So you believe God created them that way, and then told them they would go to hell if they didn't change their ways....something it would be impossible for them to do if they are in fact made like that.
So you think God is a diabolical, hateful, malicious deity.
Gotcha.
You should try my God. He is loving and wants everyone to go to heaven. Not willing that any should perish, but wants all to come to repentance.

Yes -- it's your fault.
I would get mad, too, if someone completely disregarded what I had said after I tried to be as specific as possible with clarification -- and then they continued by almost acting purposefully stubborn -- and then questioned my faith -- essentially turning a very small matter into a very large, personal, and riduculous strawman argument.

It's almost as if more of you enjoy "being right" and "correcting wrong" (as you see it) -- than you do "encouraging" and taking care with your words towards others.

Again, my Lady, I apologize for not expressing myself clearly.

I should have said: I understand we all get upset; sometimes I even feel like choking someone through the computer screen . . .

That would have prevented any hiccup on our part. But like a true family, you and I are stronger now than we were an hour ago. That's grace, that's love, that's the power of Christ!

Please show me where you have been specific about your pov. And not the "semantics" posts either. Why do you not believe God can speak as well from heaven, as on earth? And why do you believe it has to be audible and not silent?
