Have you ever looked at some of the dating advice for women GodOfSalvation. Some of it is so manipulative and deceptive and while it offers temporary satisfaction, it does not lead to a lasting marriage or relationship. If anything it's like building an airplane without wings. It will fly in the sky for a little while, but it will eventually turn upside down and explode when it hists the ground and kill everyone in it.

Then there is some good advice out there too but that advice usually is the type of advice that instead of giving women manipulative tricks to manipulate some man into falling in love with them, it causes them to examine theirselve's and look at theirselves realistically as much as it may hurt them to do that. Some women are used to only having people tell them what they want to hear so they are too weak to take that kind of advice. But the good advice causes women to examine theirselves, see what changes they need to make. U know, like a book about how to be a proverbs 31 woman. Which in the end makes woman get rid of the loser mentality that is so prevalent in both men and women in our society and in the end make them more of a prize and more confidence and give men more incentive to wife them up. Unfortunately I think most women read the manipulation books. Which work to a certain extent on certain men, but unfortunately down the road the advice leads to failure.
I once read such stupid advice on internet. You had to trick a guy by giving him the idea that you were a prize. And the advice was from a man, that's how his wife did it. Eeeewww. If you don't like me as I am there is the hole of the door. Bye!

Lol, where's all these women that are trying to seduce me? Sounds like a problem I wouldn't mind having lol.

Sounds to me like your problem is you got a bunch of ladies chasing you around and none of them are ones you are interested in.

Exactly. There is one book called THE RULES. I read it. Made me sick. Alot of the advice out there teaches women how to dominate their man. There was an advertisement on the radio for a book called HOW TO CONTROL YOUR MAN. Which most women don't realize when they dominate their man, they lose respect for him. And when they lose respect for their bf or husband that can cause the relationship to fail. Most of these books make men out to be something to conquer and dominate unfortuantely. What these women don't realize is that that is not the way God made it. It is God as the head then husband then wife. And no woman wants to submit to a man she doesn't respect. Ive heard that even in CC Chat. Trust and respect are impratant to women. Yet some of these women in America are too blind to see that so they read these books.

Well, one way is people could TELL HIM THEIR SITUATIONS. I'd think that would be pretty much common sense. Give him the benefit of the doubt. He may have alot of ex[erience and wisdom in this area. Or, he maybe trolling for fun.

He's 28 how much "experience" could he have? lol When you've been married 40yrs thats when you're in the place to give advice. But good luck with that.

I may not be the supermack dolemite ladies man, but if his advice is garbage I'll be discerning enough to tell the difference. Unfortuantely AAAplus was right though. There is alot of garbage dating advice out there. Just look at steve harveys book Think Like a Man act like a lady. Pure dumbtardness.
Quote "I may not be the supermack dolemite ladies man"

I simply dont believe that.

I know how it is. I see a lot of decent guys here frustrated with their situation. If you're always the good guy who keeps getting shot down, shoot me a message with what you're going through and I'll give you solid, Christian advice that will actually help you out (no, I won't just tell you to pray about it, I'll help you with the practical next steps).

I'm not selling anything, I'm just a dude willing to help out, who used to frequent these forums and wants to pay it forward.

But I want to know...

Well I'd have to agree with you there. I had a break-up and I decided I wanted to be prepared the next time. So I read a lot of books and got online and even purchased an ebook. I thought that maybe advice from a mans point of view would be of better help. And his advice was to act like a man, show no emotion, men hate women that show emotion. Along with a lot of more bad advice. But I thought "well a man would know" Well the first guy I tried this on is now my husband. He made short work of all my newly gained knowledge. He flat out said "no,I dont want that in a woman,I expect a woman to act like a woman". Luckily I got my money back from the ebook. Honestly most advice I received was wrong or only worked for that particular person. I dont think you can give a person advice, its such a personal thing,we're all different. In the end, everything I thought I should change is exactly what my husband loved about me.I told my husband the other day that the guy I had dated before him said I was a 2 out of 10 as a girlfriend. He said "Im glad, because God saved you for me."

I did not use manipulative or deceptive practices to get my husband to date me.

I did not chase him.

It was mutual attraction on both ends, and we let each-other know this.

I think the majority of women don't necessarily try to seduce a man. But most women do try to controll a man with sex. Or at least make an attempt to here in the US. Most of the women that tried to actually manipulate or seduce me, already had a man that they lived with. And they didn't want to just leave their man and get with me, so they developed some elaborate plot to make me jealous, or lower my self esteem, and do little manipulative things to make me fall in love with them. That way I'll be chasing them, and they won't look like whores to me for cheating on their spouse.

I didn't chase my husband either,I didn't even know he was interested in me! I stink on ice at flirting,my sister got that special power. She got a husband pretty fast. My husband said that he appreciated I didn't play mind games like most women did.
