rom 3: 23. For all have sinned and FALL SHORT of the glory of God.

That's total inability.

if you would stop reading historians, who are not alive anymore. and stop trying to put people in groups. You might actually start to see what people are saying.
Understood that you place no value in history

History is only as good as scripture supports it.

History will not tell you what I believe, Or what other people in here believe.

Your misusing history to keep your own belief in tact. That's not a good use of history..

The jews tried that, They crucified Christ because of it. (that and extra-biblical writings not inspired by God)

oh and by the way, Rom 3: 23/ Does that not say no one is qualified.

Why did you not answer my post?

my wife is going to love me whether i go out of my way to do something nice for her or not, or whether i do things around the house that annoy her or not.
if i love her -- do you think i'm compelled to do nothing for her at all, and to do everything i know of that annoys her?
or if i love her, do you think i am compelled to do things i'm not required to do, and to keep myself from doing things that offend her? even though no matter what i do, she loves me?

i think the answer to that is obvious, right?

if you love God, you do what pleases Him.
love does no harm to a neighbor. that is how & why love fulfills the law.
there are other motivations that exist, besides dread & fear of punishment. better ones.

before i read 10 pages of this --
can someone just fill me in if it's the same old, same old again?

i.e. anyone rejoicing in grace is being accused of lasciviousness?
and anyone preaching obedience is being accused of legalism?

skimmed the last couple pages -- yeah ok, i see.

the teacher said, '
nothing new under the sun'

You are not Christ. You just defiled your vessel by bearing false witness.

My goodness, you are one messed up individual.

Yet again, Everything that Jesus is (holy, righteous, sinless, etc.) has been placed into our account. It's the only reason we still sin yet can be declared not guilty by God.

You spend your time on this site smashing people down for sinning, when you yourself remain a sinner. You "defile" your own vessel every single day, while pointing your self-righteous finger at everyone else.

You are Pharisaical, and a Judaizer.

You defile yourself by bearing false witness against the Word:

You must do the righteous work of abstaining from sin and doing the will of GOD in order to be saved.

"
Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost" Titus 3:5

Do you believe a child of God would remain fruitless?? Or out of appreciation for God, do the works Paul said in eph 2: 10 they would do.

Just want to verify.. I am not talking how one is saved, but the result of ones salvation.
Ask Mary.

Luke 10:38 ¶ Now it came to pass, as they went, that he entered into a certain village: and a certain woman named Martha received him into her house.
Luke 10:39 And she had a sister called Mary, which also sat at Jesus' feet, and heard his word.
Luke 10:40 But Martha was cumbered about much serving, and came to him, and said, Lord, dost thou not care that my sister hath left me to serve alone? bid her therefore that she help me.
Luke 10:41 And Jesus answered and said unto her, Martha, Martha, thou art careful and troubled about many things:
Luke 10:42 But one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her.

You did not answer my friend.

Can a person be saved, and live like the world.

Mary was doing work. She was not sitting,,

But was mary a hearer only, or a hearer and a doer?

So, you have not read any dead authors? Why am I wasting time with an extremely limited person telling me I'm wrong? I'm not responding to your self expressed ignorance

Your not listening to a word I say. (of course I should be used to it, Your leader has done this since he first arrived)

How is a dead author going to tell you what I believe? Can you answer that?

WHy would I go to a dead author to try to figure out what you believe? I would be STUPID. and all I would do is bear false witness against you.

It is obvious you have no desire to discuss the bible. or find out what people believe. And your here why??

rom 3: 23.

Can you explain that passage.

Why does paul say ALL (every man woman and child) have sinned, and fall short (literally missed the mark) of the glory of god.

And how is this not saying all people are disqualified.

Can you show you can at least explain the word of god.

Those blessings are found in Christ. If you walk outside of Christ you are not in the realm of no condemnation anymore. GOD is faithful to his covenant and doesn't cast us away if/when that happens; and he will cleanse us if/when we turn. But if you persist in rebellion to the point that your heart becomes so hardened that you can't hear the voice of his spirit any more, you will be cut off.

What leader? Jesus Christ? Obviously you don't put much stake in the bible since they are dead authors. Why not work with me in your limited intelligence? I'm interested in the fact you don't read history yet profess to know the bible penned by dead authors

Thanks, You just proved you have no desire to discuss anything.

I asked how I can learn about what you believe by reading dead leaders. Or how you can learn what I believe

I also told you before I read a lot of books. I just do not use them to determin what others believe, I like to ask them personally,

A fact you ignored.

So. Can you at least show you know the bible?

"All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; so that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work." (2 Timothy 3: 16-17)
