I have noticed this too, but then I think both are evil and pagan religious systems. The zen stuff is actually pretty stock witchcraft. They're creation worshippers basically, that's why you have the "mother nature" cult stuff is very prevalent in their cultures, and one can see how this has been subsumed into the new ager type beliefs prevalent today. It's actually not at all in line with the Noahic covenant because for one part of that is still to recognize God, and for two because man was given dominion of the earth. One can see their pagan nature worship basically is the antithesis of the Noahic covenant.

Also the nature worshipper cults of the native americans also did human sacrifice. Probably the most famous example being the Aztecs sacrificing people because they believed they had to feed the sun blood.

The other side which you mention though is still quite dark. Literally demon worshippers. That's sorta how all the pagan religions breakdown to it really, either they are creation worshippers or they're demon worshippers, or in some cases both. I know it sounds whacky to most people, but history is pretty whack.

so anything thats not Christianity would be wrong?

I like where you guys are taking this thread. There are so many cave drawing, egyption Hieroglyphs that portray other worldly events, people and animals.....I even visited Tiwanaku in Bolivia. There were some really awesome ruins there built even before the Mayans and Incas were prevelant that defied the current narrative that we are being told about our history. The Indians on the planes and in Arizona spoke of many different kinds of people that they thought were Gods of some sort. Not to mention the pyramids right here in our own back yard that no one in academia seems to want to talk about. Thanks for making this a good read.

there has been lots of Egyptian, Hebrew and Celtic artifacts found in north america. the grand canyon had lots of Egyptian stuff. the pre dynastic egyptian traditions claim their ancestors came from the west across the sea, in the americas they claim their ancestors came from the east across the sea.

i would love to go to tiwanaku!

I just read an article from 2008 -- it said they found 1.2 million year old human-like jaw bone.
Fossil find is oldest European yet : Nature News
Wow!

Because Jesus is the Word of God of course and is present even from the first verses of Genesis.
not sure i follow that. Jesus was with and always with the Father but was the Son always with mankind? if so then what was the point of His ministry when He was always here anyway. and how did He fulfill anything if He was always here.
not saying your wrong, i dont like telling people that. just that i dont quite agree.
i always thought it was interesting you had stories in the bible about guys like namaan, not Christian, not Jewish yet our bible says he fought with valor and our Lord delivered him victories. and you have the philistine king that was best friends with david, david loved him, made an oath to the Lord to declare their friendship (big deal in those days), you would think david at one time or another would have told the guy he is going to hell if he does not change his belief system, but he doesent.

Every civilization has a story about the flood, I've studied the epic of gilgamesh extensively as an example, and even people in australia the aborigenees have stories similar to the worldwide flood....so does hinduism...it really is fantastic to research....

Also the mayans talk of angel like beings and of a returning "messiah" figure....very interesting indeed I look forward to both you and jay88's viewpoints/knowledge.....good reading indeed :)

the maya/aztec/inca would be the more dark systems i was referring to. to me they sound a lot like egypt. pre dynastic egypt was monotheistic but eventually would fall, soon after that the Hebrews left. i think the these dark systems had the same source but fell from that like the Egyptians.

I always liked Naaman's story too, and even just the general books of Kings some of my favorite both intra-Bible and even if you just isolate them alone as literature as a whole. I would think Naaman would also be a Christian, even somewhat grafted into Israel, or an echo of that promise at least. It's not the carnal race that makes one a Christian or part of Israel, but that their God is our God, and since Jesus is the Word of God, Jesus is present in the Old Testament times even from the very beginning of time, he just hadn't come in the flesh yet at their point in time, but then God still healed Naaman, God still saved Noah, God still took Enoch up to heaven.
